SGBC has set me up to start the day out on the right foot. I check for updates every morning first thing when I get to work and it helps put me in a healthy mind state all day and I end up getting my workouts in :)
SGBC inspired me to get back on track with my strength training. It’s still not my favorite thing to do, but it makes me feel great. Thanks for the motivation!
My favorite post was Wiggs abs post! It got me reading her journal, too. I had a really hard time this month and didn’t work the challenge as much as I would like to. But those moves will stay with me forever!
Time to go tweet. :)
I have really enjoyed the daily inspiration of SGBC. Plus I love that you could do all the exercises without heading to the gym. The guest posts were great too! (Plus they added more blogs to my daily reading!). I would LOVE to try all the different Amazing Grass products. Thanks again for all your hard work!
I loved the post you just did on being unmotivated to work out. I was going throught that at the exact same time, so I did not feel as guilty as I usually do when I go through those periods.
The self-reflection posts helped me the most–taking the time to think about why I exercise, how I feel about my body, how I set goals, etc. was really important and empowering to me. I also really liked the post about feeling good in summer clothes–that came at JUST the right time!
Thank you for many months of blogging, by the way. You’re a superstar!
I have to go with what some of the other girls mentioned and say that the Dear Body post was definitely my favorite and helped me out a lot. I think it is so important to treat ourselves, including our bodies, with the utmost respect. Thank you Miss Oh She Glows! :D
I’ve enjoyed your daily motivation to eat healthy – and new ideas on healthy eating. Heck, even the green monster was new to me. Thanks so much!
I really, really, really loved your letters to yourself. I have gone through so many of the same issues with food and body image, and what you wrote really hit home with me and even made me shed a few tears behind my computer screen. Thank you for being so honest and open about everything on your blog- it is truly inspiring!
The Dear Body post is my favorite, too! It’s so important to maintain that perspective. This week I’ve been frustrated at my slow running progress, and this post reminds me to be thankful I can do what I do, and not compare myself to others!
It has helped me hearing about how your attitude towards exercise has changed recently…how you no longer stress out about something as small as skipping a run, or something as scary as a serious injury. I have been injured pretty much this whole month, so not being able to participate in the exercises was really tough! But your posts have helped me stay positive throughout and not freak out (like i used to) when I couldn’t exercise for a few days – it’s now been over a month! but I’m ok with it, and can’t wait to revisit the SGBC exercises for my own ‘boot camp’ when I’m healed!
I think the goal setting posts really helped me figure out what I want to each in the near and long term, and helped me break it down in to do-able steps.
I really enjoyed the post on make up, it’s become such a part of women’s routines, we don’t question enough why or if we even need it!
I really enjoyed Leslie’s post on feeling good in summer clothes. That was definitely a good reminder. I also got a lot out of your letters to yourself. You always just put it all out there, and I love that! Thanks for putting so much hard work into the SGBC, Angela!
I can’t believe the SGBC is over! My favorite post was yours on your biggest life lesson. I can relate on so many levels! I think reaching the stage of health and wellness where being good to your body is the main focus is the best place to be! Thanks for such a wonderful month and for all of your hard work on the SGBC!
I’ve really enjoyed the posts about listening to your body, and all the guest bloggers! What a great way to spice things up on the blog :-)
I tweeted this contest, too!
Great giveaway! I like how your challenge has clearly really inspired people to make positive changes in their life. Since your blog is so popular, it attracts many people and I saw that you had a lot of participants. I also really liked all the demonstrations and pictures presented on your blog!! Oh, and your honesty! :)
Happy 9 months :)
i LOVE OSG and definitely check it out at least twice a day, but this month I really tried to put some of the talk about loving and accepting your body – as it is right now – into practice. It’s definitely hard to get those thoughts of “once I lose 5 more pounds” out of your head, but so worth it. Thanks!!
Angela-
I started reading your blog about 6 month ago as a means to try and understand this new concept of blogs, and was hooked immediately. You taught me about putting yourself out there for all to read and I have enjoyed following your journey from your wedding dress fitness schedule (that’s when I joined!) to now when you are preparing for bigger and better things. Amazing Grass would be a great next step for me to continue my passion for clean and healthy living! Great giveaway!
Happy 9 month anniversary!!
I am always so inspired by you amazing posts. I love that you write from your heart and touch on matters that really impact women and their emotions with food and exercise. I feel that you have inspired and touched so many people through your blog and I am truly amazed by your contriubitions each and every day.
Thanks Angie!
