November In Review

November 28, 2009

Good morning friends!

Thank you to everyone who took advantage of the Black Friday Glo Bar sale…wow, let me just say I will be working around the clock all weekend!!! Next week, I also start baking up the Holiday orders and they will start shipping out on Friday. I am almost at capacity for the holiday season, so if you are wanting to get an order in, it’s a good idea to get it in soon.

Last night I watched some Gossip Girl of course…I’m now at Season 2, episode 5!!! I am quite sad about Dan & S. :( but I think it’s hysterical the ‘war’ that is currently going on right now. I love seeing this side of Serena. Eric heard on the radio that the most stress-relieving activity a woman can do is watch her favourite show, and I couldn’t agree more. I’m ‘in the zone’ when I’m watching Gossip Girl, 24, and Office.

Ok, let’s get this November in Review going! Here are some of my favourite posts of the month.

So there you have it…it has been a busy month! I hope you have enjoyed as much as I have enjoyed writing it.

Well, I am off for a long, long day of baking! I have 320+ Glo bars to make this weekend including packing and shipping them out! No peace for the wicked I tell ya. ;) Eric is busy doing renos. He is finishing priming and sanding the front entry way and this weekend he will be painting. I can’t wait to show you the before and afters! We chose this beautiful colour called ‘Biscuit’ by Sherwin Williams. I found this pic on Google Images of course.

You had quite an action packed November! I love the paint color you chose for your entry way too. :)

YAy for the paint color, we have that color (or very similar) in our living room, it’s fresh, yet cozy!

Thanks for the reminder of the pumpkin pie, I want to make it for Christmas dinner!! :)

Have a fantastic day baking!! :)

That is a lovely color.

A suggestion: hire an assistant for the month of December. A university student would be happy to earn extra cash by handling your packaging. Hey — maybe you could even arrange with your alma mater to give some business student a few credits (does it work this was in Canada) to assist you and learn about start-up businesses that operate in an online/social networking forum AND are thriving in a down economy.

Hey. . . that’s an interesting case study/research paper right there. ;)

Seriously — congrats on your orders and the success they represent! What a different way 2009 is ending for you than 2008, eh?

You have had some really great posts this month! I’m not even going to try to pick a favorite, but I will say I learned a lot from the post about what you’ve learned as a blogger!!

I second Julie’s comment, I have learned a lot from you. And if I had to pick my favorite post I’d say the cookie dough balls!

What a great month of posts! I loved the “Manly Man Green Monster Challenge” because of the hard work you put into figuring out the best GM for your hubby. Love it! :)

I have many favorite posts of November, I love your blog because it has such a large variety of topics, but yet all health related, and thats what I love about it.

Some of my all time favorites have to be the eating disorder related posts because I feel like those I can relate to the most.

Yay for GG! I have a handful of terrible shows I watch, and they totally do wonders for stress/anxiety. Its nice to lose your serious self in other people’s fake drama :)

I love all your posts but my favorite was #16 on how you beat your eating disorder. Ive been calorie counting forever and am now “intuitively” eating. Its scary but good at the same time. Im learning to trust my body again finally! Thanks for all the great writing! Those photos of your cat crack me up though!!
