Last week, my best friend Allison asked me if everything was ok because she hadn’t seen a blog post from me in a few days and was getting worried.
‘…not that there is anything wrong with you taking a break though!!’, she sweetly added.
Allison is a great friend.
I knew there was a major issue if she wasn’t seeing new blog posts because I hadn’t taken a day off blogging in over a week. I figured she wasn’t the only one having problems, so I asked you guys on Twitter and Facebook and just as I suspected many of you hadn’t seen any new posts since my Thrive post on August 14th. Some of you thought I died. I’m sorry to disappoint. ;)
Eric and I were able to pinpoint the issue to some cache settings in PHP that were changed the same day of my Thrive post. Basically, it was caching entire pages on some of your computers (saving in memory) so new posts wouldn’t appear; however many of you weren’t impacted at all. We removed these changes last week, so hopefully everything is running smoothly now.
I guess I can’t ask you who is still having problems seeing new posts though can I? ;)
Without further ado, In Case You Missed It…
1) Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin Spiced Doughnuts
I dusted off my doughnut pans and cranked open my first can of pumpkin, albeit prematurely.
The hit of Eric’s birthday party. I was left with a few scraps!
3) Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Glazed Doughnuts
One of the craziest things I’ve ever made.
Stove-top, old fashioned easy cheeze sauce that comes together in minutes flat.

Another way to sneak greens into your breakfast without tasting them.

The beginning of my obsession with Phyllo.
10) Chocolate Chunk Toffee Bars
I made these for Eric when he was suffering from IMS.

Your blog brings me happiness and smiles :) I love to see what you are up too and snag some of your yummy healthy recipes! Also, lululemon gift card would be super fantastic!
Oohhh wonderful store!
Fantastic blog
Angela- I swear I’m going to have to quit my job in order to keep up with my list of recipes I want to make from your blog!! I’ve made a fair number of them and I, in addition to my typically meat and potatoes husband give them all A+’s. Congrats on such wonderful work and creativity!
I’m amazed on how you blog every day! Total inspiration. I loved your post on Happiness and re-read all 10 parts of how you got to Oh She Glows. I related to so much of your story. Definitely listening to your gut is so key. Thanks for sharing.
Hmmmm…..if that’s your new banner, I like the old one better. I’ve been getting your posts, by the way. Don’t you hate tech issues?
I like your new header a lot, but it was always nice to see your glowing smile on the old one! You are inspirational, and seeing your pic is/was a nice touch. I vote for the old one!! :)
Ooh I’d love to get some new things from Lululemon!
I am so glad you found happiness. I am always worried that I will make the wrong decision, but I know that I just have to trust myself and no door is ever closed!
Great giveaway! Would love something from the store :D
Ah thank you! I missed several of these posts.
I’ve had phyllo dough in my freezer for months!! Maybe now i’ll have the nerve to get it out and try this recipe! Thanks for the confidence!
Oh, and I love your new banner…its fresh, and light! I think a rotation would be wonderful, and of course throw your glow-self in there…maybe to get us through the winters??
I’ve never tried lululemon workout clothes before, how exciting!
I have been eyeing up the Lululemon website for quite a while now but haven’t been able to talk myself into buying yet due to the cost. But with $50 toward a jacket, I might be able to make the splurge :)
I always look forward to seeing what new recipe is posted. I have tried and enjoyed many of your recipes!
wow, there are a lot of comments! here’s hoping!
I’ve never tried lululemon tea before but I’m sure if you’re recommending it, it must be good. I would love to try it!
eeeep I’ve been pining over luluemon for years now!
I got your posts on my google reader. I prefer the old banner, but new things are fun!
Glad you’re “back”—or just showing up on my computer. Now I’ve got some morning reading to catch up on.
Also, Love Lululemon. Thanks for the chance!
