Our last day in Paris was one to remember. It was perfect in every sense of the word.

I am putting the ‘Paris is dirty’ rumours to rest! It just couldn’t be further from the truth. It is one of the cleanest cities we have EVER seen.

We made our way to Romantica Cafe for our last dinner in Paris!
![20100922-IMG_8538 20100922-IMG_8538](/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/20100922IMG_8538_thumb.jpg)

Whenever we made dinner reservations for 7:30pm, we were always the only people in the restaurant. Tourist alert! ;)
Locals don’t eat dinner until 8-10pm typically.
![20100922-IMG_8532 20100922-IMG_8532](/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/20100922IMG_8532_thumb.jpg)

I had to laugh when I read ‘Vegetarian of Vegetables’ on the menu. I took it as a sign and ordered the dish!
My two gals!

Saying goodbye was very hard! :(
‘Spooky’ Ghost Bread and balsamic + oil:
![20100922-IMG_8554 20100922-IMG_8554](/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/20100922IMG_8554_thumb1.jpg)
My mom and sis had the linguini tomato and basil pasta.
It was a dream! A dream I tell you.
I had the ‘Vegetarian of Vegetables’ ;) and it was lovely.
![20100922-IMG_8551 20100922-IMG_8551](/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/20100922IMG_8551_thumb.jpg)
I was surprised to find that there were lots of delicious vegetables throughout! Eggplant, asparagus, zucchini, tomato, etc.
When I was served it I said to myself, ‘I can’t possibly eat this huge serving’, but somehow it disappeared. ;)
![20100922-IMG_8553 20100922-IMG_8553](/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/20100922IMG_8553_thumb.jpg)
Then my sister and I ate my mom’s leftovers too. ;)
For dessert, we made our way to a bakery that we passed along the way to dinner.

I tried a mini croissant as we waited. It was off the hook.

I was told they were Raspberry filled French Cakes.

We ended up getting a huge assortment of goodies and shared them back in the hotel room!

Mon Dieu! Quelles belles photos! All this makes me salivate and miss Paris to the max. I am glad you had a good time there! Nathalie
I love your Paris pictures! Paris should pay you money with all of the tourism that you will bring their way!
I want your pastries! Those look incredible.
I think it’s hilarious they eat so late. I always heard the the only time when Paris sleeps is from 4-5am which is the hour between the night owls going to bed and the early birds getting up, haha
Such a beautiful place!
wow! i’ve been following your paris posts and you’ve only made me more excited for my trip! i leave for paris in 19 days for a 10 day trip! do you have a couple MUST SEE places you saw, patisseries or sites you can recommend?

How do we vote for you for the Project Food Blog? I have been to the website, but can’t find where we place our votes.
