Greetings!
First a little link love:
1. My awesome friends over at Young House Love sent me this link of their top paint colours! I’m in love. Which ones do you like? I love the cream, brown, green, and tan photos. Eric almost died when I told him I liked that green colour. lol. Paint colours are so personal aren’t they?? By the way, if you haven’t checked out their wonderful website you must do so!!! It is my go to website for home reno inspiration. They are also from the greater Toronto area too!
2. ATTN College students!!! Do you want dorm food ideas?? Many of you ask me for tips on how to eat healthy while at college. I cam across this post over at 101 Cookbooks on this topic. There are over 350 comments for suggestions on how to eat healthy while at college and in a dorm room. Awesome!

I had a change of plans this morning.
I decided to bake my order before going out for my run. I have two bridal party orders this week. The one I did today was a variety of my cookies!
I also came up with a new cookie today…Double Chocolate!
I also made my Ginger cookies and chocolate chip walnut.
I’m going to package these up all cute for the bride’s bridesmaids. I can’t wait to make them look all pretty with ribbon. :) I will try to take pictures of the finished products.
~~~~~~~
I had a ginger cookie and 1/2 of my new coffee Awake Glo bar before my run. I’m in love with these coffee bars.
Before my run…
And after :D
I was much more sweaty than this picture even shows!
The run:
- Distance: 5.25 miles
- Duration: 48 minutes
- Pace: 9:07 min/mile
- Max heart rate: 173 bpm (I did 3 big hills)
- Avg heart rate: 160 bpm
This is my second 5+ mile run this week and both runs my legs have felt really tired. I’m not sure why because I have been giving them lots of rest. Yesterday was an off day. My knee sleeves seem to be really weighing me down much more than usual this week. I wonder what it could be? I wanted to go much faster than I was going. It was also really windy today and Monday so maybe that was the reason…
All and all it was a great run though! Eric loaded my shuffle with new tunes and I will be sharing with you 4 new + AMAZING songs to run to in tonight’s post!!!
~~~~~~
Ok, I’m off to package cookies! Then it’s off to the post office.
Today’s question:
What would you name the new double chocolate cookies?
I love the brown color! That gets my vote!
As for the cookie…
Glo with Chocolate?
Double Glo?
How about:
“Double Delicacies”
“Savory Squared”
“Double the Love”
??????
I’m sure you’ll pick a good one! :)
xxoo

I liked the green as well, and the navy/turquoise around that fireplace is quite lovely.
Here are my thoughts on cookie names:
– ChocGlo
– Extreme ChocGlo
– Extreme Chocolate
– ChocolateChocolate
– Fudged
Nice job on the run!!
For the cookie, how about indulge or indulgence?
Yummy cookies! Sorry the run hurt your legs, hopefully you can figure that out soon ;-)
I would name the cookies “Double the Glo Chocolate Cookies” or something like that. I’m so not creative on demand, haha.
Nice run!
What about “Double the goodness”?
ooh, all those cookies look great! My legs felt tired for a while after my 10K trail run, too, even with rest + stretching. maybe try going without the knee sleeves and see if they just one with out them on?
Glo Chocolate Glo!
Deep Dark Glo
Double Trouble? :P
i would name the double chocolate cookies “cocoa loco” because that’s some serious chocolate craziness! and because everyone loves a rhyme! WOW do they look amazing. :)
or they could be called cocoa GLOco! or glocoa loco. haha.
I’m trying to think of a cookie name, but I do have a thought about your knee sleeves. I know you started using them because of pain- but maybe you have “out grown” them. Maybe your knees can handle a little more pounding now. It might be interesting to try a couple of runs without them to see how you feel. I know that our feet change when we’re running (sometimes you end up having to go to a different kind of shoe) so maybe your knees have changed a bit too.
they all look so good! I know when I do anything in the wind it seems a bit harder, but you have to give yourself props for 5+ miles, that’s awesome! hmmm . . . how about Desire? Sexy? Sweet? Sultry? Twilight? Nightfall? i think it’s so fun to come up with names :)
Chocochocolicious :)
I would simply name the double chocolate chip cookies: Amazing!
I know that doesn’t help. Glad you had a great run!
Ohh, I like the idea posted above about Double Trouble! Double Chocolate Trouble. I would eat that!
I also agree with Kristen….I wore knee sleeves for a bit during a knee injury, but they began to feel really heavy when running. I took them off and was just extra careful about the pounding, i.e. doing some workouts on the t-mill or elliptical and not upping my mileage very much. If you don’t HAVE to wear knee sleeves anymore (the pain is gone), then perhaps you can stop wearing them. Or maybe just wear them when you run outside but not on the t-mill, and then slowly ween off of them. Just a suggestion..you gotta do what feels right for you!
I like the tan & cream the best, but I always seem to go with the neutrals. With brown you want to be careful b/c it looks great in the picture b/c the floors are light, but it could end up reading very dark.
Tan & Brown are my favorite two colors. They look so warm and inviting.
As for the cookie.. How about Death by Chocolate or Chocolate^2?
You could always put as the description “These chocolate cookies are the Chuck Norris of all chocolate cookies, delivering a roundhouse kick of chocolatey goodness to your taste buds!”
Hehe.
I want one now. :(
I like the tan and the cream the best! Neutral but inviting.
I tried knee sleeves but they actually made my knee worse by puching the knee cap in and creating a grinding. I have been do quad exercises and i haven’t had much knee pain at all!
Those cookies look amazing, i would name them Chocosplosion! LOL.
you are a sweaty beast! awesome!
