Bonjour!
After an Epic fail of a hockey game (congrats to the US team!), Eric and I slinked off to do WMM2 with our tails between our legs. All was well until we began. My husband proceeded to morph into Richard Simmons. He was doing the most exaggerated poses I have ever seen, pretending he was a yoga master, whirling his arms around, and making loud, breathy noises.
I started with the full plank and crumbled to the ground in laughter at his antics. He started to do the fastest bicycle crunches I have ever seen in my life. I thought he was going to pull a muscle!! It was utterly hilarious.
I. could. not. hold. a pose. for. the. life. of. me.
Need less to say, my abs got a workout, but not in the traditional format! ;)
I concluded two things:
1) My husband is sabotaging me because he wants better abs come Jan 31st.
2) I need to hide a whittle cam in the room.
GAME ON, HUSBAND. GAME ON.
I tried to piece it together, but it is a bit blurry… ;)

‘Cuz us two crazy Canucks might be coming to a city near you!
We found a sale on flights to Florida (Westjet) after months of searching!
The sale was only on for the end of March, so we booked our trip from March 20-April 1st.
We will be staying in Naples with my mom and stepdad. Eric and I are planning on renting a car and road trippin’ around Florida’s coast for a bit too.
I used to live in Florida when I was young, but Eric has never been to Florida before, so it would be fun to do some touristy things for him. I’d also love to plan some blog meet-ups along the way! I’m hoping to find a good deal on a rental car and possibly a couple hotels along our road trip.
73 days of winter to go!

how fun that you are heading to Florida. My husband and I eloped to Disney World and had a fabulous wedding at the Grand Floridian Hotel with just a j.p. and a photographer…. naturally I think you should go to Disney World. But I also love the Keys, Everglades Park and Daytona Beach during Biker week or Spring Break is a must see. Cocoa Beach is fun, the Cape is interesting but whatever you do, make sure your Eric gets to see a manatee and a dolphin… 2 lovely beasts we cannot lay claim to in Canada. Have a wonderful trip!
My husband has brought me to Lululemon 3 times, I can’t seem to get past the price of their things. I would love to have their yoga pants, a hoodie, or one of their bags. My birthday is soon so I will cross my fingers. ;)

Oh yum, a yoga bag. I got a new mat (manduka!!!!) for xmas and it would be super awesome to not have to lug my giant gym bag around just for carrying my mat on days that I don’t need to tote anything else!

Being a southern girl, I have taken MANY trips to Florida, and let me say, you can’t go wrong by seeing Orlando, Miami, Florida or Tampa. But, there are also more laid back, less touristy places like Naples, which you will obviously see since you are staying there — it’s great! I would highly recommend Florida’s capital city, Tallahassee. With a number of museums, good restaurants and home of the famous Suwannee River. You can fish, cave dive, and be indoctrinated in Southern small-town culture there! Best of luck with your road trip… you and your husband seem like fun-loving enough people to have fun and live big wherever you go!

I just got my first 3 pieces of Lululemon (running skirt, shorts, and tank) for Christmas from my boyfriend, and I LOVE them! I wish I could buy everything in the store!!! I really want a red tank because I’m running my first half marathon on Feb. 14th in Austin, TX (also my B-day!!).
I LOVE that yoga mat tote! I actually went for an interview today at lululemon and it was my first time in the store. And oh my god it was amazing in there! I love it there soooo much, too bad it’s way out of my price range though. Hopefully I will get the job! :)

Angela – OMG – that bag is soooooooo great! I JUST finished an in-home yoga session tonight (see Twitter / Facebook status) so it felt somehow in sync that I came across your post tonight. I am in full support of the WMM-cam…Eric sounds H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S! As for Florida…I went a couple of years ago and my Dad took me to a place called Bathtub Beach which was so great because March (which is when I was there) can be a tad cold still but the water at bathtub bech is … well … warm like a bath! It’s a low tide lagoon with a coral reef and the day I went I actually saw a Manowar (jellyfish) washed up near the shore…still happily alive…if you want to see what it looks like fire me an email and I will send you a couple of photos.
