Bonjour!
After an Epic fail of a hockey game (congrats to the US team!), Eric and I slinked off to do WMM2 with our tails between our legs. All was well until we began. My husband proceeded to morph into Richard Simmons. He was doing the most exaggerated poses I have ever seen, pretending he was a yoga master, whirling his arms around, and making loud, breathy noises.
I started with the full plank and crumbled to the ground in laughter at his antics. He started to do the fastest bicycle crunches I have ever seen in my life. I thought he was going to pull a muscle!! It was utterly hilarious.
I. could. not. hold. a pose. for. the. life. of. me.
Need less to say, my abs got a workout, but not in the traditional format! ;)
I concluded two things:
1) My husband is sabotaging me because he wants better abs come Jan 31st.
2) I need to hide a whittle cam in the room.
GAME ON, HUSBAND. GAME ON.
I tried to piece it together, but it is a bit blurry… ;)

‘Cuz us two crazy Canucks might be coming to a city near you!
We found a sale on flights to Florida (Westjet) after months of searching!
The sale was only on for the end of March, so we booked our trip from March 20-April 1st.
We will be staying in Naples with my mom and stepdad. Eric and I are planning on renting a car and road trippin’ around Florida’s coast for a bit too.
I used to live in Florida when I was young, but Eric has never been to Florida before, so it would be fun to do some touristy things for him. I’d also love to plan some blog meet-ups along the way! I’m hoping to find a good deal on a rental car and possibly a couple hotels along our road trip.
73 days of winter to go!

I love love love everything lululemon, but my fav are the Ultra Short II. They are the cutest running shorts with a back zip pocket for money/ID and hidden front pockets for gels. Perfect for race day or long runs!
You must take a drive down the Keys, all the way to Key West (I used to live there). It’s definitely a fun spot you have to go to at least once in your life. If it’s not too hot, you can even do a run around the entire island!
Lululemon. I loooove their Still Pants. This is my story about still pants. I own three pairs.
I just moved back from two years in India, where I worked at an international boarding school in the office of guest and donor relations. Almost everyday I wore my still pants to work with a long shirt called a Kurti. It looked great. I received many compliments about the pants from the international guests and local staff. Still pants were both casual and dressy enough for that particular work environment.
Yet, still pants are sports oriented pants, so there has got to be more about my love for still pants than just wearing them to work. One of the reasons I liked to wear them all the time is because I walked EVERWHERE in India. I walked to the main area of town. I walked to the top op the mountain. I walked with guests visiting the school. I walked with my children. It did not matter on the day, weather or time. I walked. Still pants meant I was prepared for any physical activity and looked professional doing it.
I love the yoga mat bag and I think it go smashingly with my still pants. (Thanks for being willing to share the bag!)

Florida sounds great! I plan to go during the March break for the very first time. We’re driving down.
On my wish list are the Brisk Run Gloves in purple! Purple is my fav color and I could really use some nice running gloves in this cold Boston winter!
I usually go to Naples every March with my fiance and my parents. We will be missing it this year though, as we are getting married on June 12, and are saving up vacation time for the honeymoon! I would recommend going down to Marco Island for a day though. It is beautiful there, and you can even rent a boat and cruise around the whole island!!!
Oh my gosh, there is so much that I want. I currently don’t have anything of their’s, but I would really like the “Grove Pant “R””, very nice. I am hoping to make it to a Lululemon store sometime while traveling because sadly there aren’t any near me!

I am a long time reader but have never commented before.
I just wanted to say that I’m so glad you have a Husband that you can be yourself around: have fun, be goofy, PLAY and generally be dorks. I truly think that makes for a lasting relationship. When many superficial things are gone (looks, body, the ability to party late into the night etc.) are gone, being Best Friends is what will keep you two happy together forever. Married couples are still separate human beings; they just happen to mesh well with one another. :)
I love the fact too that you are vegan, and he isn’t, and all is well. Another great example. Thanks so much for all your positivity, even during your rough times.

How appropriate…on the top of my list is a bag! I’ve been really getting into yoga over the past 3 months and practice at a local studio 4 times per week minimum, but haven’t actually gotten a bag yet for my mat, towel, etc! Second on my list is one of their cute purple Manduka mats:) I have lots of love for lululemon!

I really really need the crop fashion pants from Lululemon!! Also, while in Florida you must visit DisneyWorld and Destin beach. It is such a Pretty beach!
The sport cardi is at the top of my Lululemon list! It’s so pretty and functional at the same time. I live in South Carolina, but am visiting Jacksonville, FL for a wedding in three weeks so I’ll let you know if I find anything fab there.
