I’ve noticed that there are a lot of you who are absolutely terrified of my green monsters! What gives? :D Ok, maybe it was my fault for the first couple of trials. I admit, they were rough. But…I am slowly finding a way to improve them (i.e., must have a piece of sweet fruit!). My first trials didn’t have any fruit in them at all and had way too much kale = bitter!
My challenge to you is to try one of my smoothies….you can even reduce the kale by 3/4 if you must at first and gradually add more as you like. I put A LOT of kale in mine- 2 huge leaves usually! But you don’t have to by any means.
I think tomorrow’s will involve more pumpkin and blueberries and maybe an apple!

Has anyone seen this amazing video???? Can you believe that people actually do this!?
They jump cliffs and then FLY!!!!! LIKE A BIRD!

The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then do what you need to do, in order to have what you want.

one day i will be brave enough to try the green smoothie! i’ve actually never even tried kale before!
I love smoothies! I will give yours a shot. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Have a good day!
Ok I still have to submit an entry for the contest. I’m a slacker.
ok, i’m going to try one of your smoothies and get back to you about it! i can’t wait to see the slideshow! hopefully i will be inspired to try some new snacks!
Can’t wait to see the slideshow!!!
I really need to get kale for green smoothies – i just never want a cold breakfast in the winter! maybe i’ll have to wait until it’s warmer :)
Your smoothies don’t scare me – I love how they turn out so bright green :D Very pretty. I’m just not really a smoothie person.
I made one yesterday – it was good!
I have to admit I was sacred of the kale but now I reallly need to try it!
I would try it…but is that all you eat for breakfast? I feel like I might be hungry pretty quickly… ?
Don’t be fooled… That can’t taste good!! Where’s the meat? :)
LOL at Eric!!!! I don’t have a good blender…perhaps a reason to invest in one? My hubby makes some mean smoothies, but I think we wore our blender out!
Hi Angela! I just found your site & decided to comment for the first time! I have to tell you – this morning I DID try your mean green smoothie & I LOVED it! (I substituted spinach for kale because I didn’t have any kale left.)
The smoothie had a great consistency and was fresh tasting but still sweet. :)
Have a good day fellow Canadian!
Angela keeps talking about this online bakery idea, but I don’t really understand the concept. Does she deliver the baked goods personally to people or what??
You are brave! I don’t know if I am brave enough to make a green smoothie…maybe one of these days soon!
Deeeeeelish!!
one of these days i will try a smoothie.. i prefer the fuity ones tho.. so maybe i will start there!
i dont have an entry into the contest ! bummer!
Angela. what does Kale even taste like???
I discovered green smoothies a while back, and I really love them. I just stumbled onto your site a few days ago and saw that you used Almond Breeze in yours. I’d never tried that, and now I’m totally addicted! Thank you for the great idea!
It’s slowly turning more and more into a fruit smoothie…. my kinda thing… but it’s definitely still GREEN! lol.
heya,
i just wanted to say that i’ve been reading your blog for a while, and i love it! i’ve actually got a banana and some kale in the kitchen, so maybe i’ll try a smoothie tomorrow–i’m not scared of the green!
