Expect to get to know me a lot better from now on, mmm kay?
After seeing Eric’s post last night on painting, I said to him:
‘That’s IT. I’m using your camera from now on!!!’
His pictures just looked…..so. much. better. than. mine. Just look!!!!
He said, ‘Well, what if I don’t want you to have better pictures on your blog than me??’
Oh it was WAR!!!!!! :D
Naturally, I won, and he was soon giving me some pointers with his camera. I can’t believe it has taken me this long to start using it. The pictures are SO utterly, drool worthy crisp. I went ga-ga over them. And these were taken at night time- gasp- when pictures normally look like a pile of you-know-what!
Expect to get to know me at a much more personal level from now on…
I won’t be able to hide anything with this camera!

Don’t get me wrong, I still love my Canon Powershot SD800 IS. I have had it for over 3 years and it is a great little point and shoot!

Haha my boyfriend has one of those cameras too but I’m always too lazy to take it out and use it. If the picture quality is that much better maybe I should switch over too! Can’t wait to see the comparison shots :)
i can’t wait for the new boot camp! :) IT should start tomorrow since it’s my birthday :) Or maybe not! I’ll need a week to recover from all the celebrating this weekend!
I have the same Canon camera! It’s lasted a while and I like it! However Eric’s camera does look pretty darn fancy!

My mom has a 30 year old camera that basically takes professional qualtiy photos and she always uses that thing unless she’s going on a trip. Cannons and other smaller cameras are great for portability and convenience, but they don’t take anywhere near the pictures that a professional camera does! Have fun with that thing! :)

I have a Nikon D70S that is quite similar to Eric’s camera – I love it! Can’t wait for picwars!
wow, I just order the canon 880, and I was so excited. I have an old manual camera from my photography classes in high school, but it’s not digital so I never use it.
Thank goodness the other commenters mentioned Canada Day, because I would have no clue what to guess. Boxing day is really far away!

You will love using the SLR. I have a Nikon D40 and it takes super pictures. I never use my point and shoot much anymore.

I wish I had Eric’s camera, I love taking photos. I do have a pretty good Kodak though, which I feel takes nice, crisp photos. Maybe I’ll just have to challenge you after you’re done with Eric :P
