Ellie Eternity Scarf Holiday Giveaway!

December 16, 2011

il_fullxfull.292232897

Last Sunday, I wrote a post on 22 gifts ideas for her under $55. It was a fun post to put together filled with kitchen, clothing, food, and other gift items!

(Side note: Word in the comment section has it that you can buy vanilla beans at Costco for cheap! Hopefully that’s in Canada too?)

One of the items on my list is this gorgeous Ellie Eternity Scarf made by the fabulous Lisa Marie from Bearded Owl’s Hoots on Etsy. I fell in love with this scarf, and Lisa’s other products, as soon as I saw them.

Such as the Philomena Snood and Critter Mitt Warmers…I could seriously use those for typing at the computer!

and the Chunky Pom Pom knit:

After I wrote that post, Lisa Marie wrote me and offered to send me a scarf as a thank you! I thanked her for her generosity, but asked if we could do a blog giveaway for the scarf instead. It’s more fun for me to share the holiday spirit with you guys! Lisa was excited for a giveaway on the blog so here we are.

Lisa Marie writes…

Hoo-T!

The Ellie Eternity Scarf is designed to be extra cozy and snuggly. It measures over 7 ft long in circumference, leaving plenty of room for you to wrap and scrunch as little or as much as you want!

Made in the softest 100% Acrylic blend.
One size fits most.
Available in most colors.

Note: Lisa Marie can make her products completely wool free if desired.

Can’t you just imagine wrapping yourself up in this huge scarf and not taking it off until May?

The winner gets to select the colour too, which is always a tough decision….especially when most of the colours are names of yummy foods…

I’ll have oatmeal with a side of pumpkin spiced figs please.

Leave a comment below telling me two things: 1) your favourite holiday cookie and 2) your fav scarf colour.

These are things I need to know. :)

The contest is open to anyone worldwide and I will pick the random winner late Sunday night.

Goodluck, stay warm, and a big thanks to Lisa Marie!

Update: The winner of the giveaway is Abbey L! Congrats!

That looks so warm! My favorite holiday cookie are rum balls (they seriously contain about a fifth of rum per batch, watch out!) I love the crimson color – it’s not quite red, but not quite pink either!

If i had to pick my favorite holiday cook would have to be biscotti because you can dip them in cocoa or soy eggnog and their unmistakable crunch is awesome! My favorite scarf color is the oatmeal it so inviting and looks like it would keep my little neck so warm! ; )

My mom makes some amazing Christmas cookies, but my favorite would have to be her bonbons with cherries on the inside! Purple scarves are pretty, too

Oh now you’ve done it again -Combined two of my favourite things, baking and knitting! Just perferct timing, I have been planning to knit an orange coloured scarf..So, my scarf colour would be pumkin of course :) As for the cookies, I thought this is a tough one, but then I realised that it’s a no brainer: my favourite holiday cookie is the gingerbread cookies I used to eat back in Finland.. Speaking of which, I should try to make some!

My fave holiday cookie would have to be chocolate pnut butter pillows–ppk. Once I started making them I couldn’t stop. They are a new tradition for the holidays. All the colors are awesome-I think spice is my favorite.

I am visiting my mother this weekend and was reading her Nov 2011 issue of Chatelaine, when I stumbled upon your nomination of one of Canada’s Red Hot Women of the Year! Congradulations! It just so happens, that I baked my favourite childhood Christmas cookie while at my mom’s…Orange Shortbread. I adapted it to be dairy free using Earth Balance. My favourite accent color of all time is red. Very festive…goes with everything! It snowed here over night…so beautiful! It’s beginning to feel a bit like Christmas in Canada! Did it snow where you are? I am hoping it snowed back home. Driving back today with my mom. Happy Holidays! Susan H. @The Food Allergy Chronicles
