Ellie Eternity Scarf Holiday Giveaway!

December 16, 2011

il_fullxfull.292232897

Last Sunday, I wrote a post on 22 gifts ideas for her under $55. It was a fun post to put together filled with kitchen, clothing, food, and other gift items!

(Side note: Word in the comment section has it that you can buy vanilla beans at Costco for cheap! Hopefully that’s in Canada too?)

One of the items on my list is this gorgeous Ellie Eternity Scarf made by the fabulous Lisa Marie from Bearded Owl’s Hoots on Etsy. I fell in love with this scarf, and Lisa’s other products, as soon as I saw them.

Such as the Philomena Snood and Critter Mitt Warmers…I could seriously use those for typing at the computer!

and the Chunky Pom Pom knit:

After I wrote that post, Lisa Marie wrote me and offered to send me a scarf as a thank you! I thanked her for her generosity, but asked if we could do a blog giveaway for the scarf instead. It’s more fun for me to share the holiday spirit with you guys! Lisa was excited for a giveaway on the blog so here we are.

Lisa Marie writes…

Hoo-T!

The Ellie Eternity Scarf is designed to be extra cozy and snuggly. It measures over 7 ft long in circumference, leaving plenty of room for you to wrap and scrunch as little or as much as you want!

Made in the softest 100% Acrylic blend.
One size fits most.
Available in most colors.

Note: Lisa Marie can make her products completely wool free if desired.

Can’t you just imagine wrapping yourself up in this huge scarf and not taking it off until May?

The winner gets to select the colour too, which is always a tough decision….especially when most of the colours are names of yummy foods…

I’ll have oatmeal with a side of pumpkin spiced figs please.

To Enter: (the contest is now closed)

Leave a comment below telling me two things: 1) your favourite holiday cookie and 2) your fav scarf colour.

These are things I need to know. :)

The contest is open to anyone worldwide and I will pick the random winner late Sunday night.

Goodluck, stay warm, and a big thanks to Lisa Marie!

Update: The winner of the giveaway is Abbey L! Congrats!

My favorite holiday cookie is the peanut blossom (I think that is what it is called– the peanut butter cookie w/ chocolate kiss). My favorite scarf color is red. I wish you the happiest holidays!

Oooh, my favorite cookie would have to be the Cookies and Cream cookies this year! They are so good! And so creative. As for that amazing scarf…Pumpkin was my first choice just based on the name! I am not sure if I would ever be able to decide if I ordered or won one however! Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

Not really a cookie, but I make these brownies with a layer of minty cream on top, and then topped with ganache. Oh. my. god.

Scarf, I think I’d go with hazelnut. So cozy! Or maybe marigold, so bright and cheerful!

Hi there! What a great give-a-way! Thanks for being so generous!
My favourite holiday cookie are called Kris Kringle cookies…I always make them to give to my parent volunteers at school. They look forward to them every year! They have white chocolate chips, cranberries and pecans…YUMMY!!
Therefore the scarf colour would have to be CRANBERRY!
Merry Christmas!

apricot or spice for sure, or not for sure since those are all lovely colors!! Favorite cookie…gosh that is HARD!! My mom in law makes these heavenly little cookies called “butter buns”, they are basically a flaky dough you cut into triangles and fill with cinnamon sugar and pecan bits and roll into crescents :)

Do Rice Crispy Squares count as a cookie?! So old school but delicious.
As for the scarf colour, tough call between the gorgeous holiday-inspired cranberry and fig.
