Last Sunday, I wrote a post on 22 gifts ideas for her under $55. It was a fun post to put together filled with kitchen, clothing, food, and other gift items!

(Side note: Word in the comment section has it that you can buy vanilla beans at Costco for cheap! Hopefully that’s in Canada too?)
One of the items on my list is this gorgeous Ellie Eternity Scarf made by the fabulous Lisa Marie from Bearded Owl’s Hoots on Etsy. I fell in love with this scarf, and Lisa’s other products, as soon as I saw them.
Such as the Philomena Snood and Critter Mitt Warmers…I could seriously use those for typing at the computer!
and the Chunky Pom Pom knit:
After I wrote that post, Lisa Marie wrote me and offered to send me a scarf as a thank you! I thanked her for her generosity, but asked if we could do a blog giveaway for the scarf instead. It’s more fun for me to share the holiday spirit with you guys! Lisa was excited for a giveaway on the blog so here we are.
Lisa Marie writes…
Hoo-T!
The Ellie Eternity Scarf is designed to be extra cozy and snuggly. It measures over 7 ft long in circumference, leaving plenty of room for you to wrap and scrunch as little or as much as you want!
Made in the softest 100% Acrylic blend.
One size fits most.
Available in most colors.
Note: Lisa Marie can make her products completely wool free if desired.
Can’t you just imagine wrapping yourself up in this huge scarf and not taking it off until May?
The winner gets to select the colour too, which is always a tough decision….especially when most of the colours are names of yummy foods…
I’ll have oatmeal with a side of pumpkin spiced figs please.
To Enter: (the contest is now closed)
Leave a comment below telling me two things: 1) your favourite holiday cookie and 2) your fav scarf colour.

The contest is open to anyone worldwide and I will pick the random winner late Sunday night.
Goodluck, stay warm, and a big thanks to Lisa Marie!
Update: The winner of the giveaway is Abbey L! Congrats!

Well I need grey, so I think I’d have to pick Charcoal, but you are right they are all beautiful colours. Ginger snaps have to be the best, although I made a GF gingerbread for my husband the other week and that warmed up with lemon curd on top was great.
My favourite Christmas cookie is ginger shortbread. It’s hard to pick a favourite scart colour when they are all so tasty looking. I suppose if I need to pick just one it would be…………………….fig.
Gorgeous scarf! I love the Owlgreij color.
My favorite holiday cookie are frosted sugar cookies that my mom used to make. So delicious!
Favorite Cookie: Vegan Walnut & Fig thumbprints!
Favorite Scarf Color: Barely
Happy Holidays!!
Its too hard to pick a favorite! Maybe sugar or gingersnaps!
All of those colors are so pretty, but i like the cranberry the best!
My favorite holiday cookie is a thick chewy sugar cookie.. My favorite scarf color is the fig or the navij.
I love cut out cookies and I LOVE the fig color!
My favorite cookies are my grandmothers italian sour cream cookies, sprinkles and all! It wouldn’t be christmas without them. I checked out the bearded owl’s hoots website and everything looks so toasty. Its a tough choice but I think i like the Barelij color the best!
Hmmmm favourite cookie??? I think my grandmother’s recipe of amaretto cookies (just ground toasted almonds and sugar) with a coffee bean on top….sooo yummy
As for the scarf colour, I like fig…reminds me of the fig dish that my grandmother made as well ;)
I love a good gingerbread man. My favorite scarf (I think) is fig, but they are all so beautiful!
Cookie- Sugar!
Scarf- Fig these scarfs are so cute!
Peanut butter cookies and pumpkin scarf!
My favourite holiday cookies are white chocolate and cranberry cookies – yummy.
My favourite scarf colour is red because it makes me feel festive :)
Cookie: Mama Pea’s peanut butter dough balls and pumpkin molasses dough balls (I can’t choose!)
Scarf color: pumpkin
Oh my goodness, how to choose???
If I HAVE to….I would say Fig! (Or cranberry…or barely…or navy..ahhh!!!)
As far as cookies go, my fave are Pecan Sandies. Are you asking because you are going to show us a vegan version? Hint, hint, lol!
Thanks for an awesome blog, Angela!
My favourite holiday cookie are my Grandmother’s shortbread. Classic!
And I’d have to say my favourite colour would have to be spice…although they’re all beautiful!
PS… Since reading your blog I have started to really enjoy baking sweets! It may become an issue! And I love the look on my family’s faces when I tell them the treat they’re enjoying so much is vegan :)
My favorite Christmas cookie has to be a traditional butter cutout with fluffy icing. Nothing better! My favorite colors are creams and browns with flecks of gold.
My fav. holiday cookie would have to be ginger cookies. They must be super thick and soft with just a little bit of sugar dusting the outside….mmmm!
I think the navy scarf is absolutely beautiful!
A/ fav holiday cookie: gingerbread cookies my grandma makes (eating them next to the fire and the christmas tree helps…!)
2/ fav scarf colour: cranberrij (I’m also a huge fan of cranberries, I don’t think that’s a coincidence…)
love your website,
Adelie
xx
These were really hard decisions. Cookie: thumbprint cookies (happy memories with mom in the kitchen). Scarf: Ahh apricot, spice, apricot, spice, apricot… SPICE!
