Last Sunday, I wrote a post on 22 gifts ideas for her under $55. It was a fun post to put together filled with kitchen, clothing, food, and other gift items!

(Side note: Word in the comment section has it that you can buy vanilla beans at Costco for cheap! Hopefully that’s in Canada too?)
One of the items on my list is this gorgeous Ellie Eternity Scarf made by the fabulous Lisa Marie from Bearded Owl’s Hoots on Etsy. I fell in love with this scarf, and Lisa’s other products, as soon as I saw them.
Such as the Philomena Snood and Critter Mitt Warmers…I could seriously use those for typing at the computer!
and the Chunky Pom Pom knit:
After I wrote that post, Lisa Marie wrote me and offered to send me a scarf as a thank you! I thanked her for her generosity, but asked if we could do a blog giveaway for the scarf instead. It’s more fun for me to share the holiday spirit with you guys! Lisa was excited for a giveaway on the blog so here we are.
Lisa Marie writes…
Hoo-T!
The Ellie Eternity Scarf is designed to be extra cozy and snuggly. It measures over 7 ft long in circumference, leaving plenty of room for you to wrap and scrunch as little or as much as you want!
Made in the softest 100% Acrylic blend.
One size fits most.
Available in most colors.
Note: Lisa Marie can make her products completely wool free if desired.
Can’t you just imagine wrapping yourself up in this huge scarf and not taking it off until May?
The winner gets to select the colour too, which is always a tough decision….especially when most of the colours are names of yummy foods…
I’ll have oatmeal with a side of pumpkin spiced figs please.
To Enter: (the contest is now closed)
Leave a comment below telling me two things: 1) your favourite holiday cookie and 2) your fav scarf colour.
These are things I need to know. :)
The contest is open to anyone worldwide and I will pick the random winner late Sunday night.
Goodluck, stay warm, and a big thanks to Lisa Marie!
Update: The winner of the giveaway is Abbey L! Congrats!
DISCOUNT CODE OFFER: Lisa Marie is generously offering a 10% off discount code for her shop! Just enter SHEGLOWS in the checkout.

Favorite cookie: My mother and I have always made these candy cane cookies during the holidays. It’s basically just sugar cookie dough, but you divide it into two batches and add red food coloring to one. Then you roll out little ropes of each color and twist them together to make a candy cane!
Favorite scarf color: crimson. What a statement.
What a beautiful scarf first and foremost!! I think one in fig would be dee…lish! My favorite holiday cookie is one my grandma use to make. They are so wonderful, and are named after her, Grandma Hempken’s Christmas cookies!! They have walnuts, dates and cinnamon so simple and top with a thin layer of powdered sugar icing!! Everyone knows that Christmas is here when I make a batch of these!
My favorite Christmas cookies are tea cake cookies covered in powdered sugar. So good!
I love the color “Owl Greij”- that would go with everything.

Love fig for the scarf and my favorite cookies are the shortbread cookies that are done in red and normal dough then twisted into a candy cane shape, lots of work but my Grammy made them EVERY year when I was growing up so they are close to my heart
She is also a knitter so if I’m not the lucky one I may have to find some fig wool and beg her to make me a new scarf
