Last Sunday, I wrote a post on 22 gifts ideas for her under $55. It was a fun post to put together filled with kitchen, clothing, food, and other gift items!

(Side note: Word in the comment section has it that you can buy vanilla beans at Costco for cheap! Hopefully that’s in Canada too?)
One of the items on my list is this gorgeous Ellie Eternity Scarf made by the fabulous Lisa Marie from Bearded Owl’s Hoots on Etsy. I fell in love with this scarf, and Lisa’s other products, as soon as I saw them.
Such as the Philomena Snood and Critter Mitt Warmers…I could seriously use those for typing at the computer!
and the Chunky Pom Pom knit:
After I wrote that post, Lisa Marie wrote me and offered to send me a scarf as a thank you! I thanked her for her generosity, but asked if we could do a blog giveaway for the scarf instead. It’s more fun for me to share the holiday spirit with you guys! Lisa was excited for a giveaway on the blog so here we are.
Lisa Marie writes…
Hoo-T!
The Ellie Eternity Scarf is designed to be extra cozy and snuggly. It measures over 7 ft long in circumference, leaving plenty of room for you to wrap and scrunch as little or as much as you want!
Made in the softest 100% Acrylic blend.
One size fits most.
Available in most colors.
Note: Lisa Marie can make her products completely wool free if desired.
Can’t you just imagine wrapping yourself up in this huge scarf and not taking it off until May?
The winner gets to select the colour too, which is always a tough decision….especially when most of the colours are names of yummy foods…
I’ll have oatmeal with a side of pumpkin spiced figs please.
To Enter: (the contest is now closed)
Leave a comment below telling me two things: 1) your favourite holiday cookie and 2) your fav scarf colour.
These are things I need to know. :)
The contest is open to anyone worldwide and I will pick the random winner late Sunday night.
Goodluck, stay warm, and a big thanks to Lisa Marie!
Update: The winner of the giveaway is Abbey L! Congrats!

I love my kids decorated sugar cookies :)
Scarf : the oatmeal
I think my favorite holiday cookie has got to be dark chocolate hazelnut biscotti! I love the scarf in cranberrij.
Ooh, my name is also Lisa Marie (well I just go by Lisa, but Marie is my middle name). Love the scarf!
My favorite holiday cookie is these raspberry kisses my mom makes every ear
Favorite scarf color is probably bright teal
I love sugar cookies!!!! Yum!!!
And absolutely adore the infinity scarf in oatmeal!!! Double Yum!!!!
Frosted sugar cookie cutouts…fond memory from childhood!
Scarf: Heather greij or barelij
Merry Christmas!
Hands down- gingerbread cookies!!!!! Already made a gluten free batch and ate them all myself in the name of holiday spirit.
Love the heather grey!!
My sister makes ridiculously decorated sugar cookies(they taste as good as they look!) but Christmas is the ONLY time my grandma makes divinity. Those little blobs of sugar and pecans are traditionally eaten in secret for fear that if somebody sees you eating one they will be reminded of them and eat one too.
As for scarves, they are all bold colors(like the Marigold) to brighten up the dull weather blues.
My favorite holiday cookie would have to be Snickerdoodles!!! And the scarf in fig is beautiful!!! :)
Vanessa
I love sugar cookies.
I love the charcoal.
Thanks, Merry Christmas.
Peanut Butter Blossom & color – oatmeal
I have a fondness for snickerdoodles – the first cookie I learned how to make in Foods class. :O)
I love all the colors, but if I had to pick just one I’ll pick pumpkin.
Cookie- Reindeer cookies ( Peanut butter cookies I make with my daughters to look like reindeer using M&Ms for eyes and nose and pretzels for antlers. So cute and delish!)
Scarf- Cranberrij
Happy Holidays!!!
Favorite cookie: My grandma’s pizzelle’s which I haven’t had in many, many years. I need a vegan pizzelle recipe stat!
Favorite scarf color: Pumpkin!
My favorite Christmas cookie would have to be my neighbor’s sugar cookies. It’s been in her family for generations and requires multiple days to cook. You can taste the love! My favorite scarf color is pumpkin.
Exciting giveaway! I have always wanted an infinity scarf!
My favortie cookie has to be raspberry thumbprints with coconut. And I love that oatmeal color, I’m all about neutrals.
Love this scarf!!
1) VFAV holiday cookie – anything with oatmeal and chocolate. Not one in particular comes to mind. 2) Love the oatmeal color!!
P.S. Just took your Pecan Pumpkin Brownie Pie out of the oven. So excited to take it to my Aunt’s Christmas lunch tomorrow. It’s calling to me from the kitchen!!
My favourite Christmas cookie would have to be my Grandmother’s ginger cookies. Everyone loves them – even my cat! However, between those and plain soft oatmeal cookies, I’d choose oatmeal almost every time, even though they are not quite as festive.
I usually go for dark colours (for example, the charcoal greij), but this time I’m drawn to the pumpkin coloured scarf. It looks so warm …
Thanks!!!
Gingersnaps are my new favorite cookie. I made them last year and fell in love. The cranberry scarf would be so lovely. Such a festive color.
i love russian teacakes, and my favorite scarf color is either navy or fig!
Oatmeal raisin cookies–simple, but soo delicious :D
Hmm, I love all the colors, but the cranberrij is really pretty!
Happy Holidays!
