- 1 scoop Hemp powder
- 1 Peppermint tea bag
- Garlic
- 1/2 frozen banana
- ice
And a special treat for ending the BBBC!
The Spring BBBC is officially over!
It has been quite a ride hasn’t it?? :) I have enjoyed doing this so much and I have learned so many great new strength exercises along the way!
This morning I was quite nervous to do my measurements!
I have been seeing great results so that eased my worries a bit.
But first: How did I do with my intense workouts this weekend?
Here is the training plan that I made for this weekend:
Friday: 1 hour cardio, Level 3 of 30-Day Shred [DID IT]
Saturday: 5 Mile run [DID 4.75 MILES]
Sunday: Level 3 Shred + BBBC Blast (see below) + 30 mins cardio [DID 40 mins CARDIO + BBBC BLAST] Level 3 of the Shred I am doing today.
So I am pretty happy with how well I stuck to my intense exercise program this weekend! Eric can vouch for me that I was super tired last night, but I still got in a decent workout. :)
So without further ado, let’s check out my final results!

So since March 26, 2009 I have lost 6 inches! This is way more than I ever thought I would lose.
I am now a firm believer that core work WHITTLES the waist. My stomach hasn’t been this toned feeling for a long time now! And as you can see, I have had the greatest losses in my waist with 3.75 inches lost!
I was even more nervous for my Before and After pictures! We all know how hard it can be to see changes on camera!!!
I am going to make you wait until this afternoon to see them! :)
Coming up this afternoon:
- My before and after pictures
- A My Hip-T contest giveaway!
I am off to study- guess what I forgot this weekend? I totally forgot about my EXAM today!!!! I really am NOT in student mode anymore! Anyways, now I have to cram this morning! Hopefully I do ok!
Have a lovely Monday everyone!! :)
Holy Canoli! Those inches lost are amazing and I can’t wait to see the before and after (even though I know you’ll look great in both). I bought the Jillian Michaels DVD this weekend and now I’m on a mission to make up for lost time. Thanks for the inspiration!!
Wow, 6 inches in just over 2 months? That is AWESOME! Can’t wait to see the before and afters :)
CONGRATS! You did amazing! I think I did pretty well too! I will try and take an “after” pic and send it to you! Thank you for hosting this awesome challenge

Wow! Amazing results!! Thank you for the challenge. It really helped me to make exercise a priority, and I really crave it now. Good luck on your exam!!
Thanks everyone!!!
Wow 6 inches! Amazing. Good luck on your test!
WOW! Those are some amazing results!! You should totally do this again like a ‘summer slim down’…I would def. participate!
I’m sure you will rock your exam!
Congratulations! I am so inspired!
Awesome job! It is so motivating to see what strength training can do.
How did you include the tea bag in your GM? Brew it? Add the contents? I’m intrigued…
congrats on toning up!
Congrats on those 6 inches!! Now I’m DEFINITELY doing the BBBC, even though I won’t be done until bikini season is almost over ;-)
Good luck on your exam!
Congratulations on this – you have really been motivating me for the last few weeks, and I thank you for that.
I wondered if you might do a post about the evolution of your GM, such that anyone who is unknowledgeable about what to include, or in what quantities to include them might be educated. I know it’s one of those recipes where anything you have in the fridge can be experimented with, but how do you determine what amount of protein, fruit, etc go into each concoction?
Congratulations Angela – you did great!
Good luck on your exam today! Awesome job at the BBBC…can’t wait to see photos.
Congrats on your GREAT measurements! You should really be proud of how dedicated you were to this challenge. It takes a lot of effort and stamina.
I HAVE to try PB in my green smoothie… sounds so good!! :)
Congrats on the AWESOME stats!!! Very impressive Angela. You definitely worked for it! :)
Wow, so brave! I would have a hard time sharing pics too! Love your site & your green monsters!
Was your core work mainly the shred? And for the green monster, do you really taste the pB? everytime I add it, I feel like I can’t taste it!
