Vida Vegan Conference Ticket Giveaway
As I mentioned a while ago, I’m attending the 2013 Vida Vegan Conference (VVC) in Portland this May. What is the VVC, you might be wondering? Founded by the lovely Janessa, Michele, and Jess it’s 3 days of seminars, talks, food, fun (duh), and exhibitors all with a vegan twist. And of course, we’ll be prowling the vegan-friendly streets of Portland along the way. This will be my first time visiting Portland and as you can expect I am beyond excited. I might pee my pants actually.
When is it? The VVC 2013 will be held on Friday-Sunday, May 24-26, 2013.
Where? Portland Art Museum, 1219 Southwest Park Avenue Portland, OR 97205

Recently, a reader named Grace contacted me explaining that she bought a ticket to this year’s VVC, but is sadly not able to attend anymore. And because of her super generous heart she’s offering the ticket to one lucky reader! Yes, you have the chance of winning a ticket valued at $280.00 for 3 days of conference fun! Please note that the winner will be responsible for all travel, food expenses, and accommodation costs incurred. This giveaway is for the conference pass only. It would be an absolute DREAM for me to attend the Vida Vegan Con. Years ago I was vegan, transitioned into vegetarian for a few years, and I’ve been an omnivore the past year or so. My health has declined ever since starting to eat meat and dairy again. I’ve been extremely sick over the past year and have experienced many digestive issues. I’m currently in an intensive program at school and my health issues have detracted from my ability to focus in my classes. I want to go back to being vegan and living a healthy life again, but I feel quite lost an unsure about where to begin. This conference would be just the inspiration that I need and would provide me with some useful tools and information to get back on track with a vegan lifestyle.
Also, I live in Vancouver (fellow Canadian, hello!) and Portland is readily accessible to a poor student like me (cheap bus tickets!).

This sounds like a great opportunity! I just relocated to Portland, and recently began eating a Vegan diet. Actually, the majority of recipes I’ve been using have come from your website. :) (So thank you for that!) As a Chiropractor, I’m always looking for more useful nutritional and dietary information I can pass on to my patients, so I’d love to be able to attend this conference!
