Good morning!
Today is Family Day in Ontario today. It is a national holiday provincial holiday created for families to have a long weekend to spend together. It just so happens to be my niece’s 1st birthday today so we will be with family coincidentally! 
The party starts at 4pm later this afternoon.
I had a wonderful bowl of Trail Mix Spelt cereal this morning:
The Mix:
- Spelt cereal (about 1.5 cups)
- Almond Slivers
- Unsweetened shredded coconut
- Dried cherries
- Dried Cranberries
- Almond Breeze in Original
This cereal was so delicious and left me feeling energized.

Now for some paint colours that we are thinking of doing:

I picked most of these colours. Eric either liked them (Basement, living/family room, entry way, etc) or didn’t (my girly bedroom and bathroom colours).
For the main livable rooms (e.g., family room) we will go with a neutral (tan), however I would like to go a bit unexpected with other rooms such as the dining room and spare bedroom.

actually, it’s a provincial holiday, not a national one. only celebrated in ontario, alberta and sask.
since i’m not provincial regulated (work for the feds) i don’t get the day off and i’m very bitter about it

I love picking paint colors too! My husband and I have been into colors for years, even before it was in style … so we would get either “interesting” or “really cool” comments from people. I like that peach one of the far left bottom for a bedroom. It may be girly but is very warm and feng shui. Have fun!

I think that golden green would look gorgeous as an accent wall. It might be bold, but I think it would make a great statement. Have fun with the paint colours, remember you can always change them!
I’m also in BC so no family day for me.
I believe we have to wait until April for a day off!! Oh well, at least it’s beautiful and sunny today. I’ll just have to enjoy it from the window.

Great colors! I say go for it with the dining room! I love when people choose different colors for special rooms like that.
