My Afternoon Powersnack

Good afternoon!

Wow, it feels good to take a break. I have been stripping wall paper all day! The room already looks bigger with the dark green wall paper gone from most of the walls.

If you recall before:

And after stripping:

Then after steaming and scraping off the GLUE:

Looks like a new room already!

I also started on the opposite wall:

In between this work, I had an amazing lunch:

But I won’t be revealing this to you until tomorrow in a special ‘What I ate’ segment!

Sketchie gave my treadmill some much needed love:

Mid-afternoon I had this awesome Powersnack:

This afternoon Powersnack is quick & easy!

Ingredients:

Handful of Amy’s Organic Crackers

1.5 Tbsp Maranatha’s Raw Almond Butter

3-4 Strawberries Sliced

I love this snack! It is packed with healthy fats and protein (flax & Almond butter) that give this snack lasting power. It also has a kick of antioxidant-packed strawberries that are sure to cheer you up no matter what the weather!

This snack has approx. ~320 calories

See you tonight for the winners of the Healthy Valentine’s Day Recipe Contest! I have narrowed it down to 5 US and 5 Canadian entries and Eric will be picking the winner of each.

Have a great Tuesday!

that looks awesome!! House stuff is such hard work- but so rewarding when you are sitting in a room that you basically re-did yourself :D!! A light color will brighten up that room so much, beautiful! As usual, love sketchie and your snacks…good luck tomorrow!!

That is SUCH a good idea to put almond butter w/strawberries. Yum!
