Vitamix 5200 Giveaway!

December 10, 2013

5200_Black_Right

I’ve been looking forward to this giveaway for over a month now! I’m so excited for whoever is going to win this beauty. =)

I’ve been a big fan of Vitamix since I took the plunge and bought one a few years ago. I’m not joking when I say that I use it every single day (usually for smoothies for Eric and I) and sometimes, multiple times a day depending on how many recipes I’m testing. It liquefies kale like a dream and blends cashews into a cream! Oh boy, I’m rhyming now. I better stop…

Here are some exciting specs about the Vitamix 5200 (retail value is $579 CAD):

  • The ability to chop, cream, blend, heat, grind, churn, and more, with a single machine
  • Quick and easy self-cleaning with a drop of dish soap and warm water; just run on High for 30 second
  • 7-year full warranty
  • Easy-to-use equipment paired with extreme versatility
  • Create smoothies, hot soups, and frozen desserts with a single machine.
  • 64-ounce container

A big thank you to Vitamix for donating this blender to one lucky Oh She Glows winner!

I am so glad my wife found your website! The recipes we’ve tried have been fantastic and the photos you take look SOOOOO delicious! (we really love your desserts, but my personal favorite is the pumpkin butter…sure would be nice though if I could get it a little smoother with a nice blender… ;-) Oh I have to give you my accolades on that delicious creamy tomato / cashew / pasta sauce. My wife made some a little while ago and while it’s great on pasta…I discovered that it makes the most incredible/I-can’t-believe-this-is-vegan-and-good-for-you/Oh-we’re-going-to-have-this-every-week!-delicious pizza with sliced roasted itialian tomatoes, kalamata olives, and pizza seasoning, on artisan italian bread (the chewy spirulina-wheat kind). Believe it or not…I think it was better than regular pizza! Of everything…that was the thing I doubted most that I’d ever find an alternative for…but your sauced made it a GRANDSLAM-HOMERUN! Thank you so much! …I can only imagine how much better it would be if we had a fancy-dancy blender like this! Been reading/watching reviews for the Vitamix, Blendtech, and Ninjas…while the blendtech spinner lid is pretty cool, noise is a big issue for us…not to mention the tamper thing is definitely a feature we want…along with everything else, (including the ability to turn the machine off when you want to without reaching around to the back–who thought of that?) it appears the Vitamix is still the best option available. Great site! Thanks for all you put into it! Bon Appetit!

Ahh this is beautiful! My parents were looking at getting me a blender for my birthday, but decided not to because I wasn’t sure how big my new kitchen would be. It ended up being a tiny kitchen, but for this baby I would make room. I’d be eating banana soft serve like nobody’s business.
