I’ve been looking forward to this giveaway for over a month now! I’m so excited for whoever is going to win this beauty. =)
I’ve been a big fan of Vitamix since I took the plunge and bought one a few years ago. I’m not joking when I say that I use it every single day (usually for smoothies for Eric and I) and sometimes, multiple times a day depending on how many recipes I’m testing. It liquefies kale like a dream and blends cashews into a cream! Oh boy, I’m rhyming now. I better stop…
Here are some exciting specs about the Vitamix 5200 (retail value is $579 CAD):
- The ability to chop, cream, blend, heat, grind, churn, and more, with a single machine
- Quick and easy self-cleaning with a drop of dish soap and warm water; just run on High for 30 second
- 7-year full warranty
- Easy-to-use equipment paired with extreme versatility
- Create smoothies, hot soups, and frozen desserts with a single machine.
- 64-ounce container
A big thank you to Vitamix for donating this blender to one lucky Oh She Glows winner!

I’d love to make nut butters, soups, and sauces with a Vitamix, I currently have a 20 year old blender that barely purees steamed veggies, let alone nuts, raw veggies, or ice. Such an awesome giveaway!

I like to do a vegan protein powder, frozen banana and frozen berries, lots of greens, some flax or chia seeds and maybe a little cacao nibs to heighten the chocolate protein.
Your recipes are delicious! My husband and I have tried some of the most interesting and wonderful combinations we might never have tried hadn’t it been for your enticing pictures and easy to follow instructions. My husband actually found your web blog first. He’s told so many people about what you do and how great you are at what you do. He’s always asking people if they’ve ever heard of you. We tried eating vegan for a while and now its only from time to time but it’s always interesting to see what new ideas you’ve got in store for us to try if we are feeling a bit adventurous! We especially liked discovering how we could make a delicious creamy sauce from cashews…who knew! Thanks Angela, for adding another fun and yummy dimension to our lives!
Lately I am loving banana, milk, cocoa powder, peppermint extract, and espresso! Peppermint mocha smoothie anyone?
