I’ve been looking forward to this giveaway for over a month now! I’m so excited for whoever is going to win this beauty. =)
I’ve been a big fan of Vitamix since I took the plunge and bought one a few years ago. I’m not joking when I say that I use it every single day (usually for smoothies for Eric and I) and sometimes, multiple times a day depending on how many recipes I’m testing. It liquefies kale like a dream and blends cashews into a cream! Oh boy, I’m rhyming now. I better stop…
Here are some exciting specs about the Vitamix 5200 (retail value is $579 CAD):
- The ability to chop, cream, blend, heat, grind, churn, and more, with a single machine
- Quick and easy self-cleaning with a drop of dish soap and warm water; just run on High for 30 second
- 7-year full warranty
- Easy-to-use equipment paired with extreme versatility
- Create smoothies, hot soups, and frozen desserts with a single machine.
- 64-ounce container
A big thank you to Vitamix for donating this blender to one lucky Oh She Glows winner!

I love shredded coconut, banana, cocoa & almond milk…. simple but delicious!
Pick me pick meeeeeeee!! I already follow on facebook and twitter!! Love love love all that you do!! :)
I love, love, love my Vitamix! Would love to win one to give to my friend!
Ya Vitamix! Who wouldn’t want one eh? I think my favourite smoothies have pineapple, banana and spinach. But they’re all so goo – who can choose! Thanks for all the giveaways and great site. Merry Christmas everyone!
I love your blog and your recipes so much! My favourite smoothie combo is your pumpkin pie smoothie. So delicious :) It would be so amazing to have a vitamix to make my morning smoothies!
My favorite smoothie combo is a toughy because I love so many options.
However, my fav is
– 1/2 frozen acai packet
– bunch of spinach
– 1 frozen banana
– 1 scoop of vega protein powder
– cashew nut milk or almond milk
– drizzle of agave
– all topped with some homemade granola
Mango, banana, strawberry – yum
A VitaMix is at the top of my Christmas list! Frozen banana, blueberries, spinach and a little maple syrup is my favorite smoothie.
Standard green smoothie with kale, almond milk, peanut butter, and peaches!
My favorite smoothie lately is simple frozen banana with peanut butter and almond milk!
Green smoothies are my favorite BUT even when I make one with very little greens to share with my younger brother he figures it out! He tends to notice a little difference in texture when I add even a small amount of greens (he is VERY particular about his food). I would love to finally have a Vitamix to see how it handles tougher produce in smoothies :)
Oh and specifically my favorite green smoothie combo is kale, vanilla Vega, frozen mango, chia seeds and almond milk!
My favorite smoothies have to be Apple Pie (apples, soymilk, cinnamon) and Hawaiian Tropic (banana, pineapple, soymilk) – a VitaMix is the BOMB!
oh the soups and smoothies and hummus I would make!
Thanks for all the great info all year long. Who wouldn’t want to win the best blender in the world.
What an exciting giveaway! I love to experiment in the kitchen, so I rarely make the same combo twice. But I savor the delicious memories of a watermelon, soy yogurt, and hemp seed smoothie. Sweet, tart, and creamy!
Love the vegan recipes to spark my own creativity! Would love to have this machine!!!!!
I love the VitaMix. My favorite smoothie to make in it is probably Cherry Bomb – frozen or fresh cherries, cocoa powder & soymilk….Yum!!
As a grad student, I am struggling with easy, inexpensive food options. A vitamix would be so perfect!
My favourite is a tropical flavoured smoothie or anything with cherries.
Love a vitamix! There are no substitutes. Yay!!
