I’ve been looking forward to this giveaway for over a month now! I’m so excited for whoever is going to win this beauty. =)
I’ve been a big fan of Vitamix since I took the plunge and bought one a few years ago. I’m not joking when I say that I use it every single day (usually for smoothies for Eric and I) and sometimes, multiple times a day depending on how many recipes I’m testing. It liquefies kale like a dream and blends cashews into a cream! Oh boy, I’m rhyming now. I better stop…
Here are some exciting specs about the Vitamix 5200 (retail value is $579 CAD):
- The ability to chop, cream, blend, heat, grind, churn, and more, with a single machine
- Quick and easy self-cleaning with a drop of dish soap and warm water; just run on High for 30 second
- 7-year full warranty
- Easy-to-use equipment paired with extreme versatility
- Create smoothies, hot soups, and frozen desserts with a single machine.
- 64-ounce container
A big thank you to Vitamix for donating this blender to one lucky Oh She Glows winner!

Thank you vitamix! This would come in so handy in our house.
I love fresh berries, milk and the vanilla vega protein mix for my smoothie.
I love me a chocolate, peanut butter, and banana smoothie!!
I’ve wanted a vitamix for ages! What a great giveaway!
Oh my goodness – I price these every year and can’t ever make myself pull the trigger (even though I KNOW I would never ever have to buy another blender and it would be so worth it!)
Thanks for the giveaway!!!
Oh, and my favorite combo is a version of a green monster that I found here so many years ago: Banana, Spinach, Amazing Grass powder, Greek Yogurt, and, if I’m feeling crazy, some berries!
banana p butter and choco is a winner in my book!
My boyfriend wants one of these so badly and totally cannot afford it right now! It would be so cool to give it to him for Christmas!
Fingers crossed :)
Dates, chia seeds, coconut oil, hemp hearts, cocoa, pumpkin seeds, vanilla and quinoa mix!
arugula, parsley, cinnamon, matcha, vega french vanilla, frozen banana, coconut water ice cubes!
but that was an extremely painful decision. So many yummy smoothie combos…
Cacao/sweet potato/avocado/chai spice smoothie is my favorite right now! Using a chaga/ginseng/red date tea base, so delicious.
My favorite is a tropical smoothie: mango, pineapple, orange, banana, coconut meat, coconut water and chia seeds…
I’m old-school – strawberry banana all the way! :)
I LOVE coconut milk, OJ, frozen bananas, and wild Alaskan blueberries. The color is beautiful and will hide the kale or spinach that I sneak past the kids and picky hubby!!
I am so going to make a great PB and strawberry smoothie with this!
Actually maybe I’ll make my own Peanut butter while Im at it!
I love the recipes and tips I get from your FB page! I am thrilled about your Vitamix giveaway – my blender is circa 1980 and is just not cutting it for my green shakes and the vegan/raw snacks I have been experimenting with! Pick me pick me :):)
I will never not eat an almond butter/chocolate/banana smoothie.
Peanut butter and banana with chocolate protein
My smoothie this morning was spinach, kale, banana, tangerine, chia seeds, greek yogurt and cranberry juice – excellent combination!
Definitely my favorite smoothie combo is spinach with strawberry and banana. Simple but sweet!
I’ve been wanting a vitamix for the longest! Saved up for it but I think I’m getting my mom a nice ring for Christmas since it’s just me and her! Anywho I like to make smoothies and pesto in my oster but it gets clogged up when the greens wrap around the blades!!! So annoying!
The Vitamix is beautiful! If I had a Vitamix, I would make ice cream, epic smoothies, nut butters (homemade vegan Nutella, anyone?), creamy soups, vegan cheeses and whipped creams, and so much more! I have an incredibly busy life, but strive to make most everything at home and from scratch, and I have been dreaming about a Vitamix to help do just that for years!
I always enjoy reading your lovely blog and using your delicious recipes. You’ve been a great inspiration!
