Happy Canada Day to all my fellow Canadians!!!!
Why I am proud to be Canadian:
I am proud to be a Canadian because we are FRIENDLY people! It sounds cliché, but it is TRUE!
I also love the beauty of our country and the diversity in climate that you find all over. Where else can you find several inches of snow in the summer?! ;) Sadly, I haven’t even visited a tiny portion of Canada’s countryside, but I would LOVE to do a cross country trip some day! :)
Yes, I love BEER, HOCKEY, and love to say ‘EH’ just like the rest of ‘em…but I DON’T live in an igloo (although I think my dad did as a kid).
And because who doesn’t love some good Canadian jokes…
CANADIAN JOKE #1
A Canadian is walking down the street with a case of beer under his arm.
His friend Doug stops him and asks, "Hey Bob! Whacha get the case of beer
for?"
"I got it for my wife, eh." answers Bob.
"Oh!" exclaims Doug, "Good trade."
CANADIAN JOKE #2
In Canada, we have two seasons…six months of winter and six months of poor snowmobiling
I hope those put a smile on your face! ;)

I’m so excited to participate in this round of the boot camp! My best tip? Learn to love yourself first….the rest will come :)
i’m in! and my best tip is SLEEP! i always glow after a good nap :)
My healthy tip would be, which I am trying to follow myself, is be happy in the skin you are in. Make small, healthy changes to get to where you would like to be, which should be a healthy reasonable goal, and it will all fall into place. Be patient and love yourself. operation beatiful baby! I found your blog not too long ago and I love it. You are a very positive, nice person, go Canada! Too bad I live in New Jersey, people aren’t as nice.
I am in! My tip is to drink a full glass of water the MOMENT I wake up! Sleep is so dehydrating and I think my morning water really replenishes me!
My healthy living tip is always pack your lunch on a bed of spinach and do wall-sits while it’s in the microwave at work!
Happ Canada Day!
So excited for boot camp to finally begin! :)
Best Healthy Living Tip: Drink water all day, everyday! It really makes or breaks the way you feel and helps prevents headaches! :)
I’m excited to join the boot camp. My tip is that I drink a ton of water and I’m mindful of what I eat. But, if I mess up, it’s ok and I don’t beat myself up about it.
I’m ready! I’m so excite to do this! I love working out but I always struggle with specific exercises to do so I am really pumped to begin. My best healthy living tip is that whenever I get a craving for something I know I shouldn’t have, I drink a glass of water. The water makes my craving go away and makes me realize that my “craving” was really just thirst!
I stunk at the last challenge but I’ll try and do better this time!!
I always like to be prepared with a healthy snack when I know I’m not going to be home for a meal. That way I’m not tempted by an less healthy option. I also make sure that I get a 30 min walk in daily!!
I’m in! My healthy living tip is walking the 1.7 miles to class every day instead of driving on to campus. Good for me and good for the environment =]
Hi Angela!
I don’t think I’ve ever left a comment on your blog before but I am really excited to be a part of your Summer Glow Boot Camp! I think it’s about time I switch things up a big =).
My healthy living tip – listen to your body! If you learn to listen, more often than not your body will tell you what it needs (or maybe doesn’t need) – so much easier than fighting against it!
My best healthy living tip is to start your day with one or two big glasses of water BEFORE coffee (if you drink it).
My best healthy living tip is…Everything is good in moderation. Sometimes I go overboard but do my best to get right back on track.
I’m thrilled to join the challenge. I found your blog at the end of the previous bootcamp and didn’t get the chance to join.
The challenge calendar looks great! Can’t wait to get started.
My healthy living tip is to sneak in exercise with your pets. I have an Australian Shepherd mix named Blue and her breed is naturally energetic, therefore needing lots of exercise. My boyfriend is on vacation this week so I’ve been taking her for long walks every day in his place. She’s been much more well behaved, and I can’t help but like the fact I am sneaking in extra exercise as well!
I’m so excited for the start of SGBC! I’m a little bit late but it’s a random Wednesday off for me (yeah Canada Day) so I slept in :)
My best healthy living tip is remembering the saying: Everything in moderation-including moderation.
It makes me feel better when I have a day of excess and it keeps me on track with balancing my life in between work, socializing and exercising.
..off to do the first 3 exercises :)
I’m in!
My healthy living tip is to make healthy splurges! I never feel bad buying a more expensive fruit, vegetable, spice to add to a meal. You only have one body and you should give it the best fuel you can afford.
I am so excited to join the SGBC! My favorite healthy tip. Try to find everyday activities that can act as exercise also. I love it when I can work up a sweat, and say, get my floors clean, or play with my kids at the same time. Thanks for putting this all together Angela, I am excited to get started !
My best healthy tip, is of course lots and lots of water.
I want to participate! My healthy tip is bringing a water bottle with me every where – good for me AND the environment! Also, a really sweaty workout does wonders for my face – my skin is always really clear afterwards!
I’m in!
My tip: Smile and laugh as often as you can!
