Just wanted to do a quick poll about who else felt the earthquake not too long ago?
Leave a comment below with your location if you felt it…I have heard that it was also felt in NY, Vermont, Pittsburg, etc.
My house was shaking like crazy and I thought someone broke in or something!
I wonder if this means my race is cancelled tonight. :ermm:
We never get earthquakes in Ontario so this is quite strange.
Be safe!

I live near Waterloo, and definately felt it here!
I was outside in downtown Toronto. Did not feel a single thing, and was really surprised when I read the news!
I live near Washington, DC, and didn’t feel a thing. Though I just read somewhere that quakes in the east tend to be felt in a wider area because there aren’t as many fault lines as there are in the west (CA, etc)…in the west, the other fault lines sort of “absorb” the energy of the quake, so it doesn’t really spread very far. So I guess this explains why it was felt in so many places.
I felt it in downtown Toronto…is it wrong that I thought it was cool, not scary??
OMG, me too! I thought I was going crazy!
I personally didn’t feel anything here in Cobourg, but my co-workers said they did!
hope the major thunderstorm warnings don’t mess up your race! it’s my run club tonight, so I’m not too sure!
I felt it in Buffalo, NY. I was on the 8th floor of my office building. It was exciting, but a little scary!
Hey Angela,
we felt is here at the office in Hartford, CT!
I felt it in Watertown, NY. We have a lot of construction on our street so I was looking out the window for moving trucks. In my head I was thinking “Wouldn’t it be weird if this were an earthquake?”. Crazy!
I was out laying on the sand at the beach in OTTAWA, and man it was so crazy! I wanted another one (:
I really felt it as I was 11 stories high in my apartment, in Ottawa, apparently about 53 km from where the earthquake happened. I had my 16 month-old with me and I was so freaked out! The whole building was shaking, pictures swaying, and things falling off shelves. Glad we are fine and that it’s over. Love your blog btw and I can’t wait to try the PB and J VOO!! Sounds amazing :D You may have inspired me to start a blog.
I live in Toronto and did NOT feel it at all!!! I get home and go on Facebook and everyone’s like – EARTHQUAKE? Whats the deal?!

I live in Milwaukee, and apparently everyone else aside from me felt the earthquake. Strange!
My family felt it in Rochester, NY
We felt it here in Vermont!
I felt it mildly at work in Lakefield, and my hubby said the whole apartment shook in Peterborough…. Crazy! Didn’t get out of work early though…
Felt it in Ottawa!

I live near Kansas City and we definitely didn’t have it!
