In honour of the recent release of Oh She Glows Every Day, I’ve partnered with Vitamix for a very special giveaway. One lucky winner will score this gorgeous Professional Series 750 Vitamix valued at $759 CAD/$599 USD!
I just started working with this blender in my own kitchen, and I have to say, it’s a beautiful machine. It features five pre-programmed settings for Smoothies, Hot Soups, Frozen Desserts, Purées, and Self-Cleaning. It also has a new low-profile container which is a few inches shorter than the 5200 series (however, it still holds the same volume—64-ounces!). Lastly, it comes in gorgeous copper, brushed stainless, and black finish options.
Here’s how to enter:
1. Make a recipe from Oh She Glows Every Day and take a photo. (You can get a copy here, if you don’t have one already!)
2. Post your photo on Instagram, Twitter, and/or Facebook between October 5 and October 17, 2016, with the hashtags #osgeveryday and #osgvitamixcontest. Post as many different recipe photos as you like and feel free to cross-post them on each social channel for extra entries. So, if you post the same photo to Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, it will count as 3 entries since it’s three different social media platforms. Just be sure to use the appropriate hashtags so we can track your entries easily!
Vitamix is opening this contest to US and Canadian residents (unfortunately, excluding Quebec). The winner will be chosen at random after contest closing on October 17. I will update this blog post with the winner on Wednesday, October 19 (and announce on Twitter) so be sure to check back to see if you won! If we do not hear from the winner within one week’s time, a new winner will be chosen at random.

Hi! Was so excited for this contest! Why is it not open for Quebec but it is for the US?
Hi Kathleen, This is a great question, and I had been wondering about it myself, so I inquired about it. Unfortunately, Quebec is governed by a separate set of legal requirements overseen by their gaming, alcohol and lotteries commission that make it difficult for us to choose winners from that province or promote the contest there. Some of the extra layers it adds to the process include extensive advance registration, a government fee, allowing the province to cancel the contest if they see fit, and full reporting supplied to them after the contest closes. As a result, very few, if any, Canadian companies include Quebec for contesting, though this is understandably disappointing for fans and readers in that province. I hope this helps shed some light on this, and please let me know if you have any more questions!

Sounds exciting – but I think, technically, purchase IS necessary since to enter you have to buy the book, right? to make recipes to take pictures to post to enter, yes? I guess, unless I know someone from whom I could borrow the book (which I don’t, yet ;) ). Love vitamix – good luck to everyone.
Hi Joy, Borrowing from a friend is a great idea, or you may be able to sign the book out of your local library. For another awesome option (and one that doesn’t require leaving the comfort of home–always a bonus!), a number of recipes from the new cookbook are up online as a result of the Oh She Glows Every Day blog tour. You can find a list of bloggers who have participated in the tour here, here, and here. Many chose to share a recipe or two from the book in their posts. I recently bought your cookbook and have been enjoying the recipes, in fact I’m eating one of your salads right now. I’ve been working on improving my health and bought your book for some meal ideas. I’m not vegan, but I hope to have 2-3 vegan days a week- your recipes are really good and very filling. I think I will have no problem with this as my resource. I am singing the praises of your book at work and with my trainer. Thank you so much! And a Vitamin would come in handy exploring your smoothies.

I bought Oh She Glows Every Day last week….LOVE it!! I actually ditched my bookclub book this month and read this in bed! Lol! A friend of mine sent me a link to your work a few years ago and ever since, I have been following and using your recipes with great success. We are not vegan but I love incorporating your healthy recipes into our menu….I often skip the meat; I’m plenty full and totally satisfied without! Have already picked up a few for Christmas gifts!

Dang it! Saw this after I finished eating the Marinared Italian Tofu and the Secret Ingredient Chocolate Pudding so no pictures to post for the draw (both winners but I knew to expect no less). My 20+ year old vitamix is wearing out…..gonna have to make the bbq sauce next …
