Hello, beeeee-u-tiful. Oh man, am I excited for today’s giveaway announcement!
In honour of the recent release of Oh She Glows Every Day, I’ve partnered with Vitamix for a very special giveaway. One lucky winner will score this gorgeous Professional Series 750 Vitamix valued at $759 CAD/$599 USD!
I just started working with this blender in my own kitchen, and I have to say, it’s a beautiful machine. It features five pre-programmed settings for Smoothies, Hot Soups, Frozen Desserts, Purées, and Self-Cleaning. It also has a new low-profile container which is a few inches shorter than the 5200 series (however, it still holds the same volume—64-ounces!). Lastly, it comes in gorgeous copper, brushed stainless, and black finish options.
Here’s how to enter:
1. Make a recipe from Oh She Glows Every Day and take a photo. (You can get a copy here, if you don’t have one already!)
2. Post your photo on Instagram, Twitter, and/or Facebook between October 5 and October 17, 2016, with the hashtags #osgeveryday and #osgvitamixcontest. Post as many different recipe photos as you like and feel free to cross-post them on each social channel for extra entries. So, if you post the same photo to Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, it will count as 3 entries since it’s three different social media platforms. Just be sure to use the appropriate hashtags so we can track your entries easily!
Vitamix is opening this contest to US and Canadian residents (unfortunately, excluding Quebec). The winner will be chosen at random after contest closing on October 17. I will update this blog post with the winner on Wednesday, October 19 (and announce on Twitter) so be sure to check back to see if you won! If we do not hear from the winner within one week’s time, a new winner will be chosen at random.

Hi Angela, I was super excited about this until I read that Quebec is excluded from the contest. Can you tell me why that is? I’m a Montrealer whom, along with many other friends, follow you from here. This isn’t a rant, just an inquiry.

Hi Kelly, This is a great question, and as I’d been curious too, I inquired about it. Unfortunately, Quebec is governed by a separate set of legal requirements overseen by their gaming, alcohol and lotteries commission that make it difficult for us to choose winners from that province or promote the contest there. Some of the extra layers it adds to the process include extensive advance registration, a government fee, allowing the province to cancel the contest if they see fit, and full reporting supplied to them after the contest closes. As a result, very few, if any, Canadian companies include Quebec for contesting, though this is understandably disappointing for fans and readers in that province. I hope this helps shed some light on this, and please let me know if you have any more questions!
Perhaps in the future there could be a manner of entering for those of us who prefer to avoid social media? I love your recipes and would love to enter to win, but prefer to avoid social media.

Oh no! I just found out about this, and I have your new book and I have made recipes from it over the past few weeks. Please please try and offer another giveaway like this again. In the end, it made total sense to invest in my own copy (which turned into both copies). :)
Today is the day. Suspence… lol! I have both copied of the Oh She Glows Cookbooks. LOVE THEM BOTH! I literally carry them around the house and even look through them when I watch TV. I have made over 40 of the recipes in the last couple weeks!! Just amazing! Friends are now buying the cookbook just because of the pictures I posted. ?
So excited for today’s announcement. I went out a bought the new cookbook just to join in on the contest fun. I was amazed at how much my husband and 2 year old loved the plant based recipes. Can’t wait to try the rest of the recipes from this cookbook. They are all so good!

It’s too late for the contest, but I just got surprised reading it was open to all U.S. and canadian citizen… except for the ones in… Quebec..! :/ As you may guess, I am from Quebec. Is there any reason for it, except for the fact we speak both english and french? haha. I adore your book and recipes, thanks for helping us in this special and healthy journey.
