Lights and Laughs

Good evening!!!

I hope you are all having a great night. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, can you believe it? My nephews are so excited for Santa’s arrival.

Today I made the pie dough in advance since tomorrow will be very busy with prep work for the big family dinner. I used Martha’s pie crust recipe and it was a breeze. Martha never fails! The dough is currently chillin in the fridge overnight and I am going to make the crust tomorrow after the gym!

I was a bad blogger tonight!

I ate so many sweets for dessert! lol. I made the mistake of prepping a huge plate of all my mom’s baking and bringing it to the table, and I could. not. stop. myself.

It was all so good!

I think I had (its a blur haha):

• 3 pieces of fudge,
• 1.5 buttertarts,
• 1/2 a chocolate peanut butter cookie, 
• 5 Ovations,
• a small sliver of banana bread,
• and half of a tiny B&W cookie.

haha. Oh man. It was delicious. I didn’t eat anything the rest of the night though, so I am not going to bed full or anything (I hate that!). I guess we all have our weak moments, right!? :D

Eric and I also helped my mom prep the stuffing for tomorrow. My mom is using a recipe that was recently featured on Oprah. After scanning the ingredients, it looks to die for! My mom also made her own cornbread from scratch instead of using the cornbread mix. It even has 1.5 cups of Orange Juice! And tons of veggies (I should know we chopped them all). It should be fabulous.

As promised the fabulous Christmas lights we drove by this week. Apparently these people hire a company to come decorate their house! lol. So rediculous!! My mom was too emabrassed of their X-mas lights this year so no picture! haha.

This house below has Christmas music piping from outdoor speakers!!!! (I am going to try to post a You Tube video tomorrow!)

At night time (we were on the way home from the movies- we saw Yes Man (it was HILARIOUS!!)

Tomorrow’s busy busy busy Agenda:

• Hitting the gym first thing. I am going to run at least 4 miles (as my weekly game plan tells me!!!) Time to burn off desserts!
• Shower, get ready, BLOG!
• Finish Pumpkin pie, help mom with prep
• Clean up our room for sis and BIL to sleep in
• 3pm– family arrives for Christmas dinner
• eat, eat, eat
• Gift opening (1 gift per person)
• Read nephews bedtime stories, pray they fall asleep!
• BLOG!
• Sleep!!!
