I made your sticky toffee pudding last winter with a few modifications. I wanted to post about it…. but it was so good we downed it before I could think to take pictures. Can’t wait to do it again this winter – it was one of my favorites last season.
Thanks Laura! I agree it’s a tough one to take pictures of. ;)
They all look amazing but that sticky toffee pudding is most definitely up my alley! ^^ Also, happy (late) blogiversary!

Congrats on raising so much! It’s awesome you were willing to take time to help those in need. Also, I need that big bowl of potatoes in front of me right now!
Hi Angela! Just wanted to comment and say that it is so amazing that you raised over $10K for Hurricane Sandy victims. I was born and raised in NJ, and my family and best friends all still live there. I feel fortunate because no one I love was injured/killed during the storm, but some of their homes were seriously damaged. You probably heard that a few days ago a lot of the state suffered from a snow storm, which just adds to the chaos of trying to rebuild from the hurricane, especially for people whose houses are inhabitable at this point. My parents got 13 inches in their area with trees and power lines down everywhere. Some people who were without power for 10 days from the hurricane are now without power yet again. So, coming from a current San Diego resident who will always be a Jersey girl, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your efforts in helping to raise money for all of those suffering from the hurricane!! It was incredibly kind of you to host a giveaway in order to raise money to help.
Hi Nicole, Thanks for your comment! I heard about the snow storm on the news this week – what a major blow to an already serious situation, eh? It sounds like they need all the support they can right now. I’m glad to hear your family and friends were not injured. That must have been scary being so far away from them.
Awww yay I’m so proud of us for raising so much money for the victims of Sandy on the east coast!!! Amazing! And those recipes look delicious!
Wow, this is so, so incredible! Amazing work. You are inspiring.
You are soooooo talented , Why don’t you have your own cooking show by now ??
Angela, Thanks for organizing the fundraiser and the giveaway. Your blog has become a highlight in my day and I’ve made several of your recipes…most recently: Spiced Red Lentil, Tomato, Kale soup which survived less than 24 hours in my home. I scarfed the entire pot except one tiny bowl shared with a friend;)
hah love it! So glad you enjoyed the soup as much as we did. :)
Thanks for your kind words! I appreciate it.
1. That’s amazing how much money was raised! Way to go!
