Last Sunday, I wrote a post on 22 gifts ideas for her under $55. It was a fun post to put together filled with kitchen, clothing, food, and other gift items!

(Side note: Word in the comment section has it that you can buy vanilla beans at Costco for cheap! Hopefully that’s in Canada too?)
One of the items on my list is this gorgeous Ellie Eternity Scarf made by the fabulous Lisa Marie from Bearded Owl’s Hoots on Etsy. I fell in love with this scarf, and Lisa’s other products, as soon as I saw them.
Such as the Philomena Snood and Critter Mitt Warmers…I could seriously use those for typing at the computer!
and the Chunky Pom Pom knit:
After I wrote that post, Lisa Marie wrote me and offered to send me a scarf as a thank you! I thanked her for her generosity, but asked if we could do a blog giveaway for the scarf instead. It’s more fun for me to share the holiday spirit with you guys! Lisa was excited for a giveaway on the blog so here we are.
Lisa Marie writes…
Hoo-T!
The Ellie Eternity Scarf is designed to be extra cozy and snuggly. It measures over 7 ft long in circumference, leaving plenty of room for you to wrap and scrunch as little or as much as you want!
Made in the softest 100% Acrylic blend.
One size fits most.
Available in most colors.
Note: Lisa Marie can make her products completely wool free if desired.
Can’t you just imagine wrapping yourself up in this huge scarf and not taking it off until May?
The winner gets to select the colour too, which is always a tough decision….especially when most of the colours are names of yummy foods…
I’ll have oatmeal with a side of pumpkin spiced figs please.
To Enter: (the contest is now closed)
Leave a comment below telling me two things: 1) your favourite holiday cookie and 2) your fav scarf colour.
These are things I need to know. :)
The contest is open to anyone worldwide and I will pick the random winner late Sunday night.
Goodluck, stay warm, and a big thanks to Lisa Marie!
Update: The winner of the giveaway is Abbey L! Congrats!

Cookie: “Mrs. V’s” christmas cookies. My mom used to make these from a recipe that my godmother’s mother-in-law gave her. They are decadent– graham cracker crumble base, then a layer of coconut cream (sweetened condensed milk with shredded coconut), then a layer of peanut butter and chocolate that has the consistency of a thick ganache. They’re so rich and amazing that just a tiny square is satisfying!
Scarf: this stunning scarf would be amazing in heather grey! That’s my favorite!
Thanks for doing this :)
Hi Angela!
Cookie – no bake alligator cookies

Merry Christmas from a fellow Canadian!

I love pumpkin whoopie pies or mint chocolate whoopie pies :) yummers!
The scarf is amazing. Since becoming vegan 10 months ago, I find that I am always freezing, which explains why i am laying on a heating pad right now :) I think the spice colored scarf would definitely help warm me up!
My favourite holiday cookies are white chocolate macadamia nut and I like the colour heather greij.
Merry Christmas!

hmmm I’m trying not to eat a lot of sugar, but chocolate covered katie’s hot chocolate cookies are AMAZING! It is also extremely hard to pick just 1 color!! but I guess I would choose spice :)
Fig for the scarf! So pretty! And chocolate crinkle cookies – oh my, they are the best!
Fav cookie: Oatmeal Peanut Choco Chip
Fav Scarf Color: Navy or Spice
Oh goodness I love all of these colors! :)
1. Fave cookie: homemade sugar cookies with homemade decorations, so they’re all different and unique!
2. Fave Scarf Color: I can’t choose, they’re all awesome… cranberry or pumpkin or oatmeal? Or any color? :)
Hi,
My favorite Christmas cookie has to be date pinwheels my Grandmother makes. I love this scarf! My favorite colors would have to be the pumpkin or fig but they are all so beautiful.

My Favorite cookies around the holidays are Caramel Cups/Tassies! I’d love the scarf in fig or charcoal!!!
Maple frosted pumpkin spice cookies have become my new favorite ever since I made them for the cookie swap! Divine! My favorite scarf color is marigold … it’s so modern and charming. :-)
My favourite cookie is shortbread with a toffee and chocolate topping
as for scarf color, the one in the picture is beautiful but I also really like the fig one.
I Love Pumpkin Spice Cookies! And my favorite color in that scarf is Oatmeal! Wonderful Giveaway! =)
My absolute favorite cookie around the holidays are peppermint cane cookies, basically light sugar cookies in cane shapes with crushed candy canes on top! I have so many memories of making them with my grandmother and I make them every year.
Also- I love the oatmeal color! I usually like brighter colors for accessories but I really like the different shades within the yarn in the oatmeal.

My favorite Christmas cookies are my Mom’s (and now mine!) Frosted Drop Cookies. As to the scarf color, Crimson is the one!
Great giveaway! My favorite holiday cookie is any and all of them. Seriously, I can’t get enough. My favorite scarf color is orange. So that pumpkin color is calling my name!
Snickerdooles! Or sugar cookies. Or chocolate chip. Or brownies. With frosting. Even though they are’t cookies ;-)
