Last Sunday, I wrote a post on 22 gifts ideas for her under $55. It was a fun post to put together filled with kitchen, clothing, food, and other gift items!

(Side note: Word in the comment section has it that you can buy vanilla beans at Costco for cheap! Hopefully that’s in Canada too?)
One of the items on my list is this gorgeous Ellie Eternity Scarf made by the fabulous Lisa Marie from Bearded Owl’s Hoots on Etsy. I fell in love with this scarf, and Lisa’s other products, as soon as I saw them.
Such as the Philomena Snood and Critter Mitt Warmers…I could seriously use those for typing at the computer!
and the Chunky Pom Pom knit:
After I wrote that post, Lisa Marie wrote me and offered to send me a scarf as a thank you! I thanked her for her generosity, but asked if we could do a blog giveaway for the scarf instead. It’s more fun for me to share the holiday spirit with you guys! Lisa was excited for a giveaway on the blog so here we are.
Lisa Marie writes…
Hoo-T!
The Ellie Eternity Scarf is designed to be extra cozy and snuggly. It measures over 7 ft long in circumference, leaving plenty of room for you to wrap and scrunch as little or as much as you want!
Made in the softest 100% Acrylic blend.
One size fits most.
Available in most colors.
Note: Lisa Marie can make her products completely wool free if desired.
Can’t you just imagine wrapping yourself up in this huge scarf and not taking it off until May?
The winner gets to select the colour too, which is always a tough decision….especially when most of the colours are names of yummy foods…
I’ll have oatmeal with a side of pumpkin spiced figs please.
To Enter: (the contest is now closed)
Leave a comment below telling me two things: 1) your favourite holiday cookie and 2) your fav scarf colour.

The contest is open to anyone worldwide and I will pick the random winner late Sunday night.
Goodluck, stay warm, and a big thanks to Lisa Marie!
Update: The winner of the giveaway is Abbey L! Congrats!

I love russian tea cakes, and yellow scarves!
1. Caramel-stuffed apple cinnamon cookies!! Recipe here: http://www.thecookingphotographer.com/2009/11/caramel-stuffed-apple-cider-cookies.html and if you can make a vegan version of this, it’d be to die for!!
3. I love them all! Such pretty autumnal colors. I’d have to say the fig and the cranberry are especially pretty.
cookie: gingerbread men
color: marigold

Great give away Angela.
My favourite xmas cookie is my mom’s shortbread – she whips it for an insane amount of time making it fluffy and light and it melts in your mouth.
The scarf is beautiful – I love the pumpkin.
My favorite holiday cookies are seven layer bars!! I adore the pumpkin colored scarf but the crimson is vibrant and beautiful too!! Thanks for the giveaway!!!
Fav cookie is gingergread! And the fig colour is delightful :)
My grandmother’s shortbread cookies. I don’t eat any of the ingrediants any more but am working on a vegan alternative! My favorite scarf colour is Marigold, gotta stay bright in the winter!
Hi Angela, my favorite cookie is definately my Mom’s Thumbprint Shortbread with homemade strawberry jam in the centre (picked locally in the summer) amazing!!!!! Favorite scarf colour is spice – spice up your life!!
My favorite holiday cookies are snickerdoodles, because you should eat as much cinammon as possible during the holidays. My favorite color scarf is the oatmeal, because it will go with EVERYTHING!
Oh, my favorite cookies are ones I used to help my gramma make when I was little. She made these shortbread-type cookies with an oozy raisin filling, but I hate raisins, so she’d make me a special jelly-filled version that was just for me. :)
And marigold is pretty much the coolest scarf color ever.
We make chocolate covered cherry cookies in the wintertime – they aren’t necessarily Christmas cookies but we make them then! I love that fig scarf color but my coat is purple so I should probably branch out! :)
Speculoos, though I prefer fruits and nuts rather than sweets for Christmas and scarf colour would be fig
Wow these scarfs are beautiful! My Fav is the oatmeal color, so cozy looking. My fav holiday cookies are sugar cookies, i love to decorate them.
Favourite cookies are Nigella Lawson’s cranberry and white choc. Unfortunately not vegan, but so delish. I think you’d love her Christmas book for the visuals but also for the challenge of creating some vegan versions if her recipes!
Those colours are all gorgeous but I’m going to stick with the theme of this reply and go for cranberry. We all need a splash of colour on these dark winter days!
Thanks for another great giveaway!
My favorite holiday cookie is definitely a spicy molasses cookie. a marigold scarf would be lovely. wonderful giveaway, Angela!
mmmmmmm biscotti! By far the best holiday cookie, every year without fail, and usually lots of times in between! :) Also love the fig colour! Though not the actual figs so much funnily enough :)
My fave holiday cookie is definitely gingerbread :)
And I’m loving the crimson scarf!!
Happy Holidays
fav cookie: white chocolate macadamia nut!
fav color: the heather grey
