Last Sunday, I wrote a post on 22 gifts ideas for her under $55. It was a fun post to put together filled with kitchen, clothing, food, and other gift items!

(Side note: Word in the comment section has it that you can buy vanilla beans at Costco for cheap! Hopefully that’s in Canada too?)
One of the items on my list is this gorgeous Ellie Eternity Scarf made by the fabulous Lisa Marie from Bearded Owl’s Hoots on Etsy. I fell in love with this scarf, and Lisa’s other products, as soon as I saw them.
Such as the Philomena Snood and Critter Mitt Warmers…I could seriously use those for typing at the computer!
and the Chunky Pom Pom knit:
After I wrote that post, Lisa Marie wrote me and offered to send me a scarf as a thank you! I thanked her for her generosity, but asked if we could do a blog giveaway for the scarf instead. It’s more fun for me to share the holiday spirit with you guys! Lisa was excited for a giveaway on the blog so here we are.
Lisa Marie writes…
Hoo-T!
The Ellie Eternity Scarf is designed to be extra cozy and snuggly. It measures over 7 ft long in circumference, leaving plenty of room for you to wrap and scrunch as little or as much as you want!
Made in the softest 100% Acrylic blend.
One size fits most.
Available in most colors.
Note: Lisa Marie can make her products completely wool free if desired.
Can’t you just imagine wrapping yourself up in this huge scarf and not taking it off until May?
The winner gets to select the colour too, which is always a tough decision….especially when most of the colours are names of yummy foods…
I’ll have oatmeal with a side of pumpkin spiced figs please.
To Enter: (the contest is now closed)
Leave a comment below telling me two things: 1) your favourite holiday cookie and 2) your fav scarf colour.
These are things I need to know. :)
The contest is open to anyone worldwide and I will pick the random winner late Sunday night.
Goodluck, stay warm, and a big thanks to Lisa Marie!
Update: The winner of the giveaway is Abbey L! Congrats!

I like the Spice colored scarf and my favorite cookie happens to be Ginger Molasses…at least at the moment because of the holiday spice factor!
Marigold or pumpkin colored scarf and oatmeal raisin cookies!
I love linzer cookies and that charcoal scarf. Thanks for the giveaway!
My favorite holiday cookie is skor shortbread .. and I love the pumpkin color!
1) Favorite cookie: hm, that’s a toughy. I like gingerbread men and sugar cookies (although not the store bought ones (like Safeway’s), unless someone freshly baked them at home and sent a limited number to a store to see if anyone would buy them). I think it’s only humane to bite the heads of the gingerbread men off first :3
2) Favorite scarf color: This is also a toughy question. The scarf colors are beautiful~! But, I must say fig is cute color.
Rice crispie balls (crispies, dates and then rolled in coconut) Yum!
Love the cranberry color. Very festive.
My favorite holiday cookie is this marshmallow spice cookie I accidently created one year. It’s all the spices of pumpkin pie (but no pumpkin) and you add a marshmallow in the middle of the cookie. Yum!
The scarves are amazing, I keep spying the infinity ones trying to decide if I can buy a christmas present for myself. I love the charcoal color!
My favorite cookie is a spice christmas cookie and my color is heather greij
My favorite Christmas cookies are thumbprint cookies. My mom has baked them for as long as I can remember, and now they’re one of my specialties too :) My favorite scarf color: Cranberry
Fruit cake cookies! They’re like sugar cookies with lots of candied fruits mixed in. So good!
I love the barley scarf, brownie chip cookies with peppermint kisses chopped and folded up inside and Christmas :) This scarf is adorable!
My fave coookies are peanut butter!
My fave colour is cranberry :)
My favorite holiday has to be ginger molasses cookies, I can’t get enough of them. I used to love the Starbucks ones and then when I became vegan I tried veganizing a recipe and kinda failed. Then I stumbled upon your blog and made the wedded bliss cookies. They are the BEST cookies I have ever had and everyone loved them when I brought them to work. :D
Also I love all the scarf colours. Aside from Heather greij (hehe I always end up liking colours that share my name) I love the oatmeal, it would look so cute with everything!
Also haha costco is the best for everything. Whenever I go home I make my mum take me so I can stock up on chia and nuts and everything for super cheap :D
Fav cookie: Ginger Molasses (aw-my-gawd!)
Fav scarf colour: dark fuschia or a deep burgundy!
That scarf is beautiful!
my favorite christmas cookie is the snikerdoodle :)
and i loovee the crimson scarf!
merry christmas :)
Favourite holiday cookies would be gingerbread, and I love the fig colour of these scarves!
My fav christmas cookie is peanut butter kiss cookies. Love the cranberry scarf!
Thanks for passing on the love, Angela! So odd, but I love the marigold, which is generally not my color at all… but I want it! My favorite holiday cookie would have to be shortbread. I haven’t had it in ages!
favorite christmas cookie: gingersnaps!
favorite scarf color: charcoal (and i would seriously not take it off until may)
Pumpkin, please!
And my favorite holiday cookies… well, call them a new favorite. Double chocolate pecan.
