Can you believe it’s December 2nd? I say, bring on the red dresses, cocktails, decorating, cookies, and parties. I’m so ready to end the year with a fun and festive month.

First time commenter, long time lurker! Well, been lurking for the past few months now since I started cooking for myself at home. (I’m 25.) I LOVE all your recipes, and what I’m looking most forward to this holiday season is to cook some of your recipes for my family and show them that healthy cooking is just as good as the unhealthy stuff, if not better! ;) The one to convince would be the boyfriend. I’ll have to try some scrumptious cookies on him.

We have tons of traditions – Christmas cookies made from secret Swiss family recipes, carols sung in German, a tree lit with candles. I can’t wait to share the version of the holidays that I grew up with him.

I’m happy to spend Christmas with my best friend and her family, whom are all like family to me. We lived far apart for several years, so it’s only been the last couple of years (since I moved closer) that we’ve been spending Christmas together. She and her family make the holidays so much happier for me.
