What do 3 Lululemon obsessed fans decide to be for Halloween?
Why yoga instructors of course!
Left to right: Hatha Guru Legs (Alex from HGL), Omm Spiritual Goddess (moi- OSG), and Bending It Backwards (Krissy from BIB). We ooze with creativity don’t we? haha.
Now this was some relaxing yoga. PS- I snagged this super cute green biodegradable yoga mat from Lululemon this week. I’m in LOVE with it.

They were definitely the comfiest costumes ever! I could live in Lululemon clothes all day. (Eric just said, ‘You do.’) I guess he’s right…
![IMG_5788 IMG_5788](/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_5788_thumb.jpg)
Naturally, Eric went as a YOGI MASTA! Doesn’t he look over-joyed? He showed us his moves.
![IMG_5859 IMG_5859](/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_5859_thumb.jpg)
I totally prefer him beardless though… ;)
And Frank, Krissy’s husband, went as Fred Flintstone (haha!)
![IMG_5869 IMG_5869](/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_5869_thumb.jpg)
Krissy and Alex are so much fun. It was so fun to finally have some friends to talk about blog stuff with!!!! We basically sat by the fireplace all night and gabbed away.
![IMG_6009 IMG_6009](/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_6009_thumb.jpg)
I was quite pleased with how the Halloween decorations turned out! We decorated our whole place for just 30 bones.
Candles are a really cheap way to add some pizzazz and warmth!
The food was just lovely too.

Kashi crackers, salsa, and nacho chips:

Krissy brought along some amazing vegan goodies, including this vegan pumpkin dip! [By the way, HAPPY WORLD VEGAN DAY!!] It was awesome. Recipe coming soon…
![IMG_6040 IMG_6040](/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_6040_thumb.jpg)
With mini pita pockets…
![IMG_6042 IMG_6042](/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_6042_thumb.jpg)
And her drool-worthy macaroons and Super Charge Me Cookies a la Dreena.
We had some good tasting drinks…\
![IMG_5819 IMG_5819](/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_5819_thumb.jpg)
Apparently we were also Charlie’s Angels. Luckily, I had practice with this photoshoot before….
And some not so good tasting drinks…
Sketchie was definitely the star of the night. We showed him off and he did his tricks for everyone treats.
![IMG_5841 IMG_5841](/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_5841_thumb.jpg)
![IMG_5861 IMG_5861](/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_5861_thumb.jpg)
Unfortunately, one of our pumpkins got kicked in! :(
![IMG_5761 IMG_5761](/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_5761_thumb.jpg)
I shed a few tears…
And then I educated everyone on my Hangover Prevention Kit (HPK):

Just 8 easy installments of $99.99!
We finally crashed around 4:30am!!!! Make that 3:30am, but we forgot to change the clocks back.
I woke up around 8:30am, did a healthy shot of wheatgrass and went back to bed until 11am.
![IMG_6049 IMG_6049](/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_6049_thumb.jpg)
It is now 12:30 and Eric is still in bed. I think I should go wake the sleeping beauty! At least someone is holding down the fort around here…lol.
Today is catch up day. I need to take control of my inbox and tasks that I have had to put off. Hopefully the lack of sleep doesn’t get to me!

Now I’m REALLY curious- What was the strangest or funniest Halloween costume you saw yesterday?
![Angela_Signature Angela_Signature](/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Angela_Signature_thumb.png)
Omg… That first pic is so cute! I love the drinks at the top of y’all mats:)
One of the custodial staff members at the high school I teach at was a sumo wrestler. It was a light-weight plastic outfit with a hole in the back to pump it with air. It was fantastic.
That is such a cute idea! The most fabulous costume was our friend’s iteration of Bruno..overalls, boots, and everything. It was priceless!
love the costumes! looks like a lot of fun! :)
You ladies looked beautiful and it sounds like you had so much fun!! Love the yoga instructors/turned Charlie’s Angels bahaha:)
One of my friends went as the guy from the Nightmare Before Christmas, and it was a really well made costume.
Looks like you had a really fun night!!! I slept in too – until like 4 :-)
absolutely brilliant! :)
I’ve been considering buying myself a new mat — do you recommend the lululemon (I’m pretty sure this is a silly question considering you are the lululemon queen).. how much did it cost you (if you don’t mind me asking of course!)
Thanks Angela!
Looks like a fabulous time!! I love that you combined yoga with a little vino! Have a great week~
I love the decorations- this looked like so much fun! You’re making me want to buy everything Lululemon, haha
A running book suggestion for when you finish “First Encounters”
The Runner’s Rule Book by Mark Remy
Enjoy!
Love that you went as a yoga instructor!! I dressed up as the “critical care nurse who needs to go to bed early to work on Sunday.” yes, very creative. ps: what kind of wheatgrass do you buy?
Look at the Good Time you had!…Positive Energy is so attractive!
i finally entered a lulemon store because of you!! i love all your workout clothes and bright colors, especially the turquoise blue on you – looks sooo good! the cookies and mini pitas look delishhhh. the weirdest costume i saw was the kate gosselin one.. mostly i just saw slutty cotumes (the nurse, the cop, etc) i liked jim on the office’s “facebook” lol
Love love love the lulu outfits!
So fun!
How much do you love their hoodies?? I have two and they they’re just so warm and comfortable! You guys look great!
I LOVE the yoga instructor idea – so much fun!
Angela I heart your costumes and how awesome your place looks on 3o bucks! I spent my whole week making my halloween costume and by the time saturday hit, I was so tired, I started fading around midnight!
That vegan dip sounds delicious.
As for the funniest costumes, it’s a cross between “Grandma, who was followed by Obama’s Death Squad (it took three people to make it whole)” and “Marge Simpson as a Playboy Bunny.”
Wow, does Sketchie really shake? That’s so cool!
