If you are like me and still finishing up your shopping, I hope this list will spark a few ideas for you. Most of the items are under $30 and I think all of them are under $60. Happy shopping!
1. Filomena Baking Collection {Anthropologie}
I don’t own these pieces, but they certainly caught my eye. I’m all for pretty looking bake ware and these certainly fit the bill.
2. Paderno World Cuisine Spiralizer {Amazon}
This hand-powered device turns zucchini into a huge pile of cascading noodles in less than 1 minute flat. The device itself is quite small and compact, not taking up much room to store. I can’t tell you how much I use this device!
3. VegNews
Edited: A reader brought this article to my attention about VegNews, so I can’t recommend a subscription at this time due to the current legal battle woes. :(
4. Sweet Nothings Necklace {Anthropologie}
5. The Oh She Glows Cookbook {Amazon}
A shameless plug for my upcoming cookbook. =) A big thanks to those who have already pre-ordered. International readers, try ordering through The Book Depository which has free shipping worldwide (thanks for your tip in my last post).
6. Polka Dotted Potholders {Anthropologie}
7. The Perfect Glass Mug {David’s Tea}
I have a little obsession with mugs (such as this one). I adore this sleek look of this glass mug by David’s Tea. Price includes the steeper too!
GTA friends – treat your friend or family member to a veg-friendly meal this holiday season!
9. Red Sweater Mug {Indigo}
My mug obsession lives on…sigh.
10. Champion women’s fitted pants {Target}
I bought these pants a couple years ago at Target and they are amazing! A much better deal than my lulu pants that are pilling and coming apart at the seams. I suggest going into the store to find your best fit.
11. Chickpea Magazine Digital Subscription
You’ll be hooked at first glance.
12. Polka Pleats Apron {Anthropologie}
13. 5-Piece Market Mixing Bowl Set {Crate & Barrel}
Back again on my list this year, I have this set (in different colours) and it’s one of my most-used kitchen tools. A great all-purpose set and you can’t beat the different sizes for all kinds of jobs!
14. Sponsor a Farm Sanctuary Animal {Various locations}
Farm sanctuaries rescue, rehabilitate, nourish, and provide love and shelter to farm animals who had a rough start in life. For a list of farm sanctuaries around the world, see here.

That deal with VegNews is just sad. #2 is on my WANT, want, WANT! list. I’ve wanted a spiralizer for so long…
I love your website, were so like minded in the way of food of course, I hope Angela you have a memorable holiday with the ones you love and many more!
I am definitely getting number 5!
I was completely clueless about the crazy drama going on over at Vegnews. SO sad! But, honestly, I stopped supporting them when I found out about their unabashed advertising and unwaivering support of Earth Balance, palm oil products and all. I don’t know how a vegan company can support a business that is destroying the habitat of a whole species.
Great suggestions! Would love to get my hands on a Spiralizer!
Took your advice on #5! Only I bought it for myself. I deserve a nice Christmas present, too, even if I have to wait until March!
Thanks for the list! That gave me some good ideas for my vegetarian hard-to-shop-for friends!
My gift to myself this Christmas will be The Oh She Glows Cookbook! you’ve got your biggest fan in Scotland in me! thanks for the ideas!
Thank you Lily!
This is great stuff. Thanks for the list.
As for your contests, I totally understand the comment not being an entry option, but it would be cool if there were points just for coming to your site and reading the blog because I don’t do all that social networking. I have a twitter account, but I’m on hiatus right now because I’m writing a book, so I was able to enter with my @ name, but that’s it (no tweeting aloud for me because books don’t write themselves!). I know it’s probably more useful to you to have people who are social network connected, but some of us are just faithful blog readers and aren’t interested in that stuff. Just FYI…not a complaint, considering you’re giving stuff away! :-) Happy Holidays!
I love item number 2! I’m going to have to keep implying to people that it’s what someone should be getting this year! If not I’ll end up having to buy it for myself!
I may have missed someone else commenting on this already too but take a look at this article from a while ago about VegNews Magazine. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/04/19/science/earth/19vegan.html?_r=0
I love it. Thanks for Posting this article. It is truly helpful for my cooking lesson.
