I’m getting married this summer and we’re going on a Mediterranean cruise too!
I’m not sure what company you went with (we’re going on a Princess cruise), but I’m wondering if you guys did any of the excursions or just planned your own days on shore? Thanks!

Yes we used Princess Cruise lines and they were fantastic! Highly recommended. Food was great too. We did just 1 excursion with princess because they were quite expensive and we found that it was much cheaper to do self-guided excursions. This was A LOT of work and planning though. We bought guide books for each major city and did lots of prep (sometimes the night before we arrived!). We did the bus/train thing a couple times and also got cabs. It eneded up being much cheaper. We also liked the freedom of not being stuck with a big group. There are a couple excursions that you probably want to be with a tour depending on the city though (some are a bit less safe than others).
