By the time I finally wrapped up my Glo Bakery work it was after 7:30pm and we still had to get to the grocery store…and we had a MAMMOTH order to get tonight!
We didn’t get home until 8:30pm- and still no dinner! While we were at the grocery store, I decided to finally try an Amy’s Pizza that I have been wanting to try for ages now! So when Eric saw my pizza, he goes, ‘Oh that’s it, I’m so getting a Delissio!!!’ (his favourite pizza).
So then it became PIZZA NIGHT!
I admit, I was NOT impressed when I pulled out my Amy’s pizza out of the box! What the heck did I buy…
It looks like a NO FRILLS pizza to me. And where the heck was the sauce?!
The nutritional info (clicky):
I decided to add some veggies on top to spruce it up a little!
His + Hers in the oven:
He had the Delissio and he always gets just cheese and pepperoni! He is a basic guy, what can I say? :)

And His:
I ate half of the pizza and saved the other half for tomorrow’s lunch!

Plate 2:
He had 3/4 of his pizza. :)
So what did I think of Amy’s Soy Cheese Pizza??
- I was pleasantly surprised with the taste of the pizza. Even the cheese tasted like normal cheese! Eric was surprised that it tasted so good too.
- The soy cheese gets hard very quick so this pizza is best eaten right out of the oven
- I am so glad I put veggies on mine, next time I will add even more (and more pizza sauce too, which this pizza was lacking!)
- All and all it was a nice treat as I never buy these types of food. :)
Dessert was another delicious Cantaloupe Creamsicle and two Glo Ginger Cookies (my OBSESSION!!!!):
Mmmmm….so very very good:
After I had my Amazing Grass mix, I had oodles of energy and Eric caught me dancing…
Yup, I’m a dork and he loves me. ;)
Ok, it’s 10pm and we just wrapped up dinner- crazy!
We might go to a late show to see The Proposal or we might just cuddle up here and watch a movie.
Tonight’s Question: What is your favourite movie??
Mine would have to be the Anne of Green Gables series, being a Maritimer and all. :D I grew up watching it with my family. PLEASE tell me you’ve seen the movies!!!
See you tomorrow for an exciting Glo Bakery announcement and all the delicious groceries from today!

you may be a dork, but you’re a cute dork!
my favorite movie is amelie. if you can stand watching a movie with subtitles, its a great film!
The Proposal is very cute. I went to the LA premiere and blogged all about it. Here is the link:

I TOTALLY saw the Anne Of Green Gables series. Excellent choice! One of my favorite movies in the past few years is The Family Stone.
xoxo
Anne of Green Gables! I could not get enough of that series. My favorite series within the series is the Anne of Avonlea videos, where Anne goes off to the Kingsport Ladies College and etc. That’s a blast from the past, lol!
I love “Before Sunrise” and “Dazed and Confused.”
I’ve never tried Annie’s Soy pizza but my blogging partner just reviewed the cheeseless version and she loves it!
Ange–movie recommendation which many readers might’ve given…the hangover….it really is howl-arious!! i kept laughing incessantly
Dance party!! Haven’t seen the Proposal, but I did just see My Sister’s Keeper. So sad..but the book is better! I’d have to say my favorite movie would be Grease! Or Anchorman :-)
Delissio pizza is my FAV! I have it every time i’m home. I just love it!!
That pizza looks so much better with the chopped tomato on top. Glad you enjoyed it!
As for favourite films, it’s so hard to choose just one! I absolutely love The Sound of Music though.
oh, I LOVE the Anne series!! Movies and books!! Love love love! I reread the books all the time and rewatch the movies all the time. Still keeping an eye out for my Gilbert ;)
Oh my gosh!!!! I just watched that a couple of months ago (came on the local PBS station) and actually cried in some sections. Partly b/c it was sad and also partly b/c it reminded me of being a little girl again (I miss not living with my fam!). Why don’t they make shows like that anymore? A couple of months ago they had this new series, “The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency” and it was brilliant.
Favorite movie(s) Clue, She-devil, Happy Gilmore, Seven and So I Married An Axe Murder. It’s hard to decide :)
I fix my hubs his and her meals also and he always says mine look better LOL!
Oh, my … I absolutely love Anne of Green Gables and of Avanlea. Good old Gilbert Blythe! It was always meant to be ; )
I find Amy’s products are often hit or miss for me. I’m kinda “meh” about their pizzas too. Their pockets on the other hand… SO GOOD.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Anne of Green Gables series, but I’ve seen the play they put on in Charlottetown every summer at least a dozen times!
Being a journalist and all, my favourite movie is “All The President’s Men.” I also love “High Fidelity.” It’s based on a Nick Hornby book, and I love anything Nick Hornby writes.
LOVED Anne of Green Gables!! My middle name is Anne with an E!
I LOVE Anne of Green Gables. I’m 33 and I had both movies on VHS and wore them out. I now have them on dvd and watch them several times a year. “I’m in the depths of despair” that more people don’t love these movies like we do!
I’ve got so many favorite movies– Fried Green Tomatoes, Love Actually, Steel Magnolias, and the list goes on and on. I also love the Anne of Green Gables series, both the books and the videos.
I haven’t thought about Anne of Green Gable since I was a kid! I loved it so much, and now that you’ve put it in my head again, I must rent it. And the book is sooooo good too, I might just have to reread it!
Of course I grew up living and breathing Anne being a Maritimer myself. Have read all the books, watched the movies (don’t you just become a puddle when Matthew dies???!)I’ve been to the house at Cavendish and to see the play in Charlottetown – and hey, I was pretty much the spitting image of Anne when I was a child with my red braids and freckles. *breaks into Kindred Spirits*
Hmm… I have a few favorite movies.
American Movie, Matilda, Edward Scissor Hands, Amelie, Finding Neverland, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Last Unicorn
But I think my ALL TIME fave is Amelie! Have you ever seen it? I think anybody who sees it will have their lives changed.
Hi, Angela,
Just stumbled upon your blog and I love it. I am also an Anne of Green Gables fan, both books and movies. My other favourites were/are What Katy Did, All the Children were Sent Away, and Narnia.
