Good evening everyone!
I hope you all had a great day. Tomorrow is Friday….yippee!
The commute is really getting to me this week. We haven’t been getting home until after 8pm at night. It is such a long day and leaves us no free time to ourselves at night. I’m not sure how much longer I can put up with this!
In other news…I sampled two new products this week and thought I would review them for you!
First up:
Think Organic Fruit & Nut Energy Bar in Chocolate Coconut flavour
I didn’t immediately like the bar at first bite, it was much firmer than the Larabars that I am used to. However, after a few bites, the chocolatey and nutty flavour really came out and I really enjoyed this bar!
The bar has 210 kcals, 11 grams of fat (3 of which are saturated- which is the only downfall of this bar), 4 grams of fibre, and 5 grams of protein! Not too shabby.
Ingredients: Organic dates, organic cashews, organic unsweetened coconut, organic cocoa, organic unsweetened chocolate, pectin, organic almonds.
While I enjoyed this bar, I don’t think I would buy it often as it was a bit more expensive than a Larabar and not as good nutritionally.
Next up:
Mary’s Organic Crackers in Herb flavour
See my review for the original flavour here.
At first bite, I wasn’t crazy about the Herb flavour. I think it is because I am not crazy about the taste of certain herbs. However, after I had a few crackers, the taste really grew on me and I had a couple handfuls of them! These would be fabulous with hummus!
You can see the herbs in the cracker :)
I think these crackers are an acquired taste. It isn’t a cracker that you immediately think ‘oh my God this is amazing’, but after you have a few you really appreciate the natural taste of the seeds and rice.
I don’t think I will go back to regular crackers after eating something so hearty, crunchy, and healthy!

Well guys, its now 10pm and I have lots to do before bed tonight! So I must jet!
Eric and I caught The Office (our Thursday night ritual!) and it was hilarious as usual. Ohhh poor Meridith! haha. :D
Have a great night!

Men spend their lives in anticipations,—in determining to be vastly happy at some period when they have time. But the present time has one advantage over every other—it is our own. Past opportunities are gone, future have not come. We may lay in a stock of pleasures, as we would lay in a stock of wine; but if we defer the tasting of them too long, we shall find that both are soured by age.
~Charles Caleb Colton
