I’ve been looking forward to this giveaway for over a month now! I’m so excited for whoever is going to win this beauty. =)
I’ve been a big fan of Vitamix since I took the plunge and bought one a few years ago. I’m not joking when I say that I use it every single day (usually for smoothies for Eric and I) and sometimes, multiple times a day depending on how many recipes I’m testing. It liquefies kale like a dream and blends cashews into a cream! Oh boy, I’m rhyming now. I better stop…
Here are some exciting specs about the Vitamix 5200 (retail value is $579 CAD):
- The ability to chop, cream, blend, heat, grind, churn, and more, with a single machine
- Quick and easy self-cleaning with a drop of dish soap and warm water; just run on High for 30 second
- 7-year full warranty
- Easy-to-use equipment paired with extreme versatility
- Create smoothies, hot soups, and frozen desserts with a single machine.
- 64-ounce container
A big thank you to Vitamix for donating this blender to one lucky Oh She Glows winner!

1 frozen banana, 1 cup of carrot juice and a teaspoon of fresh grated ginger! So fresh and tangy!
My favorite smoothie combo has always been frozen raspberries, green juice, a cup of kale leaves, vega protein powder (vanilla chai flavour), cinnamon, and half a banana. I have yet to try any of the smoothies on here but if I had a proper blender just imagine the possibilities!
Favorite smoothie recipe is walnuts, pears, almond milk, and cinnamon.
I’ve heard great things about this blender. I would love to make almond milk with it. I was told that you don’t have to strain it when you use a Vitamix.
I would love this!
Almond milk, banana, honey, and cocoa powder!
Merry Christmas!
Would LOVE to win this!
I’ve been loving homemade coconut butter lately, but my old blender just doesn’t do quite the job a vitamix would!
I like banana, blueberries, raspberries, plain yogurt, a scoop of greens and coconut water.
Mango and spinach!
I’d love to win a vita mix! I’ve been asking Santa for years lol
Favorite smoothie: pear or peach, sweet potato, red apple, blueberries and cinnamon. tastes like home!
Funny this post just came up today! I literally just learned how to make my first good tasting green smoothie (before I was just throwing in kale, carrots, and apples with water – fun!). My combination this morning was: 1 cup vanilla soy milk, 1 apple (quartered), 1 tbs chia seeds, and 3 ice cubes. Tastes like a nutritious vanilla milk shake, and I loooove the creamy light green color :o)
My husband and I have to pause in admiration every time we walk by a Vitamix in a store. I dream of homemade nutmilks and soups with consistencies our 10 year-old cheapy blender just cannot achieve!
Whoops! Did not read the directions very well! My very favorite smoothie recipe is more like a milkshake! It is:
1 cup almond milk
1 frozen banana
1 tbsp almond butter
2 medjool dates
cinnamon to taste
Love your website! A great giveaway as well :) I know people who swear by their vitamix!
Banana, raspberries, flax, and water. Simple but delicious! I would love to add ice but it would break my $20 immersion blender. Oh what would I do with a vitamix? I’d be a whole new person!
i really like your back on track green monster – it was perfect for after Halloween. might need to have another for Christmastime :)
My fave smoothie is Chocolate Warrior Blend, Frozen Cherries, Frozen Banana, and either almond milk, or coconut water!!!! YUMMMMMY!
I like tropical fruit with coconut flakes and coconut milk with Greek yogurt for protein! It helped me gain less weight for my second pregnancy!
