I’ve been looking forward to this giveaway for over a month now! I’m so excited for whoever is going to win this beauty. =)
I’ve been a big fan of Vitamix since I took the plunge and bought one a few years ago. I’m not joking when I say that I use it every single day (usually for smoothies for Eric and I) and sometimes, multiple times a day depending on how many recipes I’m testing. It liquefies kale like a dream and blends cashews into a cream! Oh boy, I’m rhyming now. I better stop…
Here are some exciting specs about the Vitamix 5200 (retail value is $579 CAD):
- The ability to chop, cream, blend, heat, grind, churn, and more, with a single machine
- Quick and easy self-cleaning with a drop of dish soap and warm water; just run on High for 30 second

A big thank you to Vitamix for donating this blender to one lucky Oh She Glows winner!

Hi, I just found your site from looking up how to make homemade wheat thins. I am so excited to find you. As far as smoothies go, I usually make this one for my teenagers: A few BIG table spoonfuls of homemade yogurt, about 8 oz of raw milk, two bananas (they like bananas) and a tablespoon of flaxseeds. If I have frozen fruit I’ll throw them in as well. Mix it up and serve for a quick breakfast. Morning times are a little tough to eat a full meal.
As long as a smoothie has tons of spinach in it, I’m sold! Ahhhh would LOVE to win a Vitamix!!
Milli Vanilli Green Monster is my favorite!
I love my green smoothies but I would love to expand into making soups, hummus, and nut butters with a Vitamix blender!
WOW! You rock. I like an almond or coconut milk smoothie with mixed berries and spinach and a bit of protein powder!
Vitamix is dreamy!
for a green treat:
spinach, banana, pineapple, parsley, chia and flax seeds, lemon juice, spirulina
for a sweet treat:
2 frozen (super ripe) bananas, peanut butter, cinnamon, almond milk
The bf’s go to green smoothie:
spinach, banana, pineapple, parsley, chia and flax seeds, red grapes, spirulina
I love frozen banana, spinach, cocoa powder — delicious!
Pinapple, mango, kale with almond milk. I believe it is impossible to be in a bad or sad mood when one eats tropical fruit!
Strawberry and vanilla…
What a great giveaway! I started green smoothies 4 years ago, love it! Kale, collard, frozen berties, papaya, bananas, chia seeds, macadamia nuts, pumpkin for the seadon, you name it. Breville blender broke after 2 years, Ninja is not so good at greens. Smooth smoothies – is what Vitamix good at.
My absolute fave smoothie is chocolate, banana, peanut butter. I am a paragon of health! I’d love to start making green smoothies though, been dying to get my hands on a Vitamix for that exact purpose!
I think my favorite smoothie combo would have to be blueberries, coconut water, spinach and maca! Simple yet tasty!
Green Monsters are still my absolute favorite smoothie!
I’ve been loving orange+carrot+mango lately!
I love a simple strawberry and banana smoothie with peanut butter, but if I had a Vitamix I could become much more creative with smoothie ingredients and add in things like kale or carrots.
I love any smoothie with berries, mango, or peach!
Favourite smoothie? Banana, spinach, almond milk, and cacao– can’t go wrong!
My favorite smoothie is probably chocolate banana!
What a fantastic giveaway! Thank you Angela and Vitamix!!
