I’ve been looking forward to this giveaway for over a month now! I’m so excited for whoever is going to win this beauty. =)
I’ve been a big fan of Vitamix since I took the plunge and bought one a few years ago. I’m not joking when I say that I use it every single day (usually for smoothies for Eric and I) and sometimes, multiple times a day depending on how many recipes I’m testing. It liquefies kale like a dream and blends cashews into a cream! Oh boy, I’m rhyming now. I better stop…
Here are some exciting specs about the Vitamix 5200 (retail value is $579 CAD):
- The ability to chop, cream, blend, heat, grind, churn, and more, with a single machine
- Quick and easy self-cleaning with a drop of dish soap and warm water; just run on High for 30 second
- 7-year full warranty
- Easy-to-use equipment paired with extreme versatility
- Create smoothies, hot soups, and frozen desserts with a single machine.
- 64-ounce container
A big thank you to Vitamix for donating this blender to one lucky Oh She Glows winner!

My fingers are extremely crossed right now, afraid I’m getting a bit of a cramp actually….
Excellent blog Angela! Looking forward to buying the cookbook soon.
I would love to try making homemade peanut butter with that blender!
Almond milk, banana, flax seeds, spinach, blueberries, and cinnamon! I currently do everything in my awful plastic blender from the 20th century. This would be so amazing. Thanks for doing these giveaways, Angela!
What an awesome giveaway! Thank you so much. Happy Holidays!
Would make all your kick-*** recipes with this sucker!
I’m not a huge smoothie fan *gasp*. ;). If I had to choose, i do like vanilla non-dairy yogurt, vanilla soy milk, and frozen cherries.
I’ve been thinking about buying a vitamix for a few years now, would love to have one!
My favorite smoothie combo would have to be spinach, apples, strawberries, kiwi, and some soy yogurt :)
Angela, I have a very similar story to yours. Ever since finding your blog, I’ve fallen deep, deeply in love with food again! Thank you so much for your delicious recipes and your passion for vegan food :)
Just had a smoothie with Apple, banana, pear, kale, almond milk, peanut butter, hemp seed, chia seed for dinner tonight
I have been dying to try one of these!!!!
This is amazing and so, so generous! I don’t make smoothies anymore because my blender is terrible. I dream of making raw cashew-based cheesecake, but neither my food processor nor my blender has the ability to break down nuts or dates into a very smooth paste. There are always chunks, no matter how long I run the machines. My favourite smoothie involves frozen banana, ceylon cinnamon, vanilla extract, peanut butter and almond milk. It’s so yummy.
My favorite smoothie is a combination of kale, spinach, banana, blueberries, almond milk, and chia seeds. Thanks for the opportunity!
OhSheGlows inspired me to make green smoothies: I make them with spinach, pear, green apple, kiwi, lemon and agave. Delicious!
