I’ve been looking forward to this giveaway for over a month now! I’m so excited for whoever is going to win this beauty. =)
I’ve been a big fan of Vitamix since I took the plunge and bought one a few years ago. I’m not joking when I say that I use it every single day (usually for smoothies for Eric and I) and sometimes, multiple times a day depending on how many recipes I’m testing. It liquefies kale like a dream and blends cashews into a cream! Oh boy, I’m rhyming now. I better stop…

Mixed berries, vega, banana, kale-booyah!
I love making this ice cream with my Vitamix: Blend 5 frozen bananas with 1-1 1-2 cups almond milk, 8 bahri dates, 1 pinch of cinammon and a tablespoon of chinese 5 spice. Blend together, and sprinkle more chinese 5 spice on top with 2 tablespoons of coconut sugar. Amazing and satisfying desert! The coconut sugar with the chinese 5 spice gives it a reallly nice caramel taste. :D
If I win, I will be offering it to one of my good friends who can’t afford it but really needs it !
Vitamix!! Yay!
I love the combo of banana + some other fruit (whatever is in season – usually berries but I love tropical flavours like pineapple and mango too) with almond milk, spinach or kale, hemp seeds and some kind of nut butter. Sometimes a dash of maple syrup or a scoop of spirulina is a nice addition too!
