I’ve been looking forward to this giveaway for over a month now! I’m so excited for whoever is going to win this beauty. =)
I’ve been a big fan of Vitamix since I took the plunge and bought one a few years ago. I’m not joking when I say that I use it every single day (usually for smoothies for Eric and I) and sometimes, multiple times a day depending on how many recipes I’m testing. It liquefies kale like a dream and blends cashews into a cream! Oh boy, I’m rhyming now. I better stop…
Here are some exciting specs about the Vitamix 5200 (retail value is $579 CAD):
- The ability to chop, cream, blend, heat, grind, churn, and more, with a single machine
- Quick and easy self-cleaning with a drop of dish soap and warm water; just run on High for 30 second
- 7-year full warranty
- Easy-to-use equipment paired with extreme versatility
- Create smoothies, hot soups, and frozen desserts with a single machine.
- 64-ounce container
A big thank you to Vitamix for donating this blender to one lucky Oh She Glows winner!

There is only one thing missing from my life that I’ll never be able to afford and it’s a lovely Vitamix. Santa, I’m cashing in all my good karma for this one!
bananas berries and coconut milk yogurt….simple and yummm
Strawberry banana is my fav smoothie combo
I am so excited for this give away! I make smoothies almost every day and my current favorite is the clementine flusicle from this blog :)
I really enjoy the “chocolate almond butter in a cup” in julieanna hever’s book. It combines spinach, almond butter, flaxseeds, dates, cacao nibs, frozen bananas, ice, and unsweetened chocolate almond milk. Yum!
Vanilla Vega, almond milk, almond butter, apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, ice (kale/spinach optional). Yummy!
Oh yay!!!!! I have wanted one forever!!! Thank you for the chance to win Angela!! Happy Holidays!!
Oh how I want one of these! I’m a smoothie queen, my favorite is blueberry lemon (frozen blueberries, banana, lemon wedge, greek yogurt, a little stevia, some chia, oatmeal, and coconut water) yum!
*fingers crossed*
Pineapple, banana, spinach, coconut water and a little sea salt smoothie..that’s my favorite!
anything with strawberries, pick me pick me pick me! :-)
<3 Vitamix!
I love smoothies, this would be a dream come true!
Peanut Butter-Banana is my fave, but there’s really no limit to healthy combos (and even easier smoothies, sauces and soups!) when you have a Vitamix! What a dream!
And there’s nothing quite like a banana, spinach (or other greens) and almond milk combination. Tried and true. It’s fun to experiment, but this simple smoothie is always my go to.
I like a random mix of fruit and vegetables, but it has to have fresh ginger.
I’ve been making banana-berry-soymilk-oatmeal-hemp-chia smoothies to get my morning boost on these cold winter mornings–when I delay getting out of bed as long as possible, giving me limited time to make a proper breakfast.
I have an entire list of smoothie combos on my blog — I LOVE smoothies! My ultimate favorite though? Green smoothies. A heaping amount of kale or spinach, a VERY ripe banana, a teaspoon or two of cinnamon, a cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk or unsweetened almond milk, and then I’ll vary it up sometimes by adding a chopped date, some greek yogurt or vegan yogurt, or a tablespoon of chia seeds, or a 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne for that extra kick I need in the morning. LOVE green smoothies!!
My favorite is 2 cu spinach, 1 cu frozen peaches, 1/2 banana and 1/3 cu OJ.
My daughters fave is 2 cu spinach, 1 cu frozen dark cherries, 1/2 cu frozen pineapple and 1/2 cu OJ.
(These amounts make 1 adult and 2 kid size smoothies.)
Red Grapefruit, red grapes, kale, fennel, green apple, ginger, lemon & filtered water
my hubs & I are saving for a vitamix right now! he’s a master at sauce-making (mmm homemade enchilada sauce), and I love making smoothies. especially ones that are green with kale!♥
