Morning! :)
Wow, your comments from my post last night were so sweet! :D I am glad to know I’m not the only sap out there…hehe.
Today has been a fairly lazy morning– I don’t have to be into work until 11:30 as I am working late tonight. It’s nice to have a bit more time in the mornings every now and then!
My abs are so sore from the workout videos I did yesterday!!! It hurts to move!
I did another day of cross-training for my workout this morning:
- Walking on treadmill 4.5-4.6 mph, incline 4-15%
- Total duration: 35 mins.
- Total distance: 2.75 miles
- Max Heart rate: 157 bpm (81% of max)
- Avg heart rate: 139 bpm (71% of max)
The workout was fairly easy as compared to more intense training days. But I am very cognizant of the fact that it is easy to burn-out and over-train when preparing for a half-marathon, so I am being extra cautious.
Tomorrow will be an intensity run– I am thinking of doing a speed run tomorrow- so stay tuned for that!

And now for more of Eric’s Christmas decorating– this time in the office:
Again, no, that is not a fly on the wall, that’s a Christmas Decoration! hehehe!!!

So, you are all probably wondering how I surprised Eric on our 1-year anniversary of our engagement, right???
Here is the first part….
And you’ll have to wait for lunch time to hear the story!!!

The greatest results in life are usually attained by simple means and the exercise of ordinary qualities. These may for the most part be summed in these two: common-sense and perseverance.

What a sweet letter! But so not nice to leave us in suspense!!!
So sweet! Have a good day!
Haha!! Love the tiny Christmas decoration.
CAN’T WAIT to hear the lovely story that goes along with the letter!! :-)
I am a newbie to your blog. Its quite good. Thanks for visiting my blog.
It will be exciting for me to follow your progress to your first half marathon. It is truly a splendid experience you will never forget.
It is good to have a “mixed bag” of different training for your running. Speedwork must be included. Hill training is also another idea.
Good Luck and I have your bookmarked into my Bloglines.
Oh you are keeping us in such suspense! Have a great day :)
