Good morning!
Last night I took a much needed PC-cation.
I was feeling a bit run down over all of the events in the past week, and I just needed to turn off and zone out.
Do you guys ever feel that way too? I think computers and the Internet are such amazing things, but they can also be unhealthy if we spend too much time on them.

I’m now ready to tell you all about the wonderful meet-up at Fresh yesterday!
We arrived for 2:30pm and it was super busy, as it always is at Fresh. As we waited for our table we all chatted. It was so nice finally meeting everyone who I have been talking to over email.
I gave the ladies a little goodie bag of Glo Bars while we waited!
Once we sat down, I asked our server if she could take a picture of the group. I passed her the camera and it died. Battery dead!!!!!! Of course, I had to hold my composure together in front of all these wonderful ladies. I choked back a tear and cracked a smile and nervous laughter. hahaha. ;) Luckily, my new friends came to the rescue and allowed me to use their camera!
Whew, problem averted.
Here we are (going counter clockwise): Stephanie, Alex, Ashley, Gillian, Cali, Melanie, Alison, me, Krissy, and Alicia.
Everyone was so sweet and super friendly! It was so nice to finally connect with others who have such similar interests as I do. :) We will definitely be doing this again!
How long does it take 10 ladies to order at Fresh? Well, let’s just say the server had to come back to the table 4 times to ask us if we were ready! lol.
I started with:
Oh this was just fabulous!
I wanted to try ingredients that I never have at home, and this surely fit the bill! I need to get a juicer asap!!!!!!
From left to right: Melanie, Alison, me, Krissy:
Krissy also brought goodies of her own- All natural macaroons!
I tried one last night and they were delicious!
For my main, I decided on the Baby Beach Bowl on brown rice:
The sun dried tomatoes were some of the best I have tasted!
This bowl was really delicious. I liked it because it combined many different ingredients that I normally wouldn’t think to pair together. However, I still preferred the Energy Bowl I had in August to this one. Nothing beats coconut curry!
Energy bowl In August:
After our mains, we were all stuffed and decided to pass on dessert. Especially since it was lunch time, I don’t typically crave anything sweet until the evening hours.
Thanks to everyone who came out! For those of you who could not make it, I really hope that we can get together soon! :)

After Fresh, Eric and I worked on my labels until about 8pm. I was just zonked by the end of the day. Good news though- We finally figured out why my labels were smudging when wet!!! The problem is now solved. We printed about 6,000 labels last night!!! It was exhausting to say the least.
Around 9pm, Eric caught me doing this:
I was resting my eyes (can’t nap for the life of me).
He knows whenever I lay down I must be really tired because I am the type of person that goes crazy when I have to sit still and do nothing.
I think the past week just tired me out and the half marathon + other festivities finally caught up with me. Eric took advantage of my down time by popping on a movie for us to watch. It was just the downtime I needed!!

US SHIPPING:
In other news, US Shipping finally has a date!!!! I apologize for the delays. We ran into a couple major, major issues last week that threw a snag in our plans.
Mark your calendars:
The online shopping cart will be activated: Thursday October 8th at 9am EST. All orders will be on a first-come, first serve basis. Let’s hope the server doesn’t crash! lol.

Looks like you all had a great time at Fresh. I’m glad you got some much-needed, much-deserved rest! :)
Such a FUN meet-up! Glad to hear you enjoyed it so much. Good luck with your to do list.
Hi,
So glad you had a nice time with the girls. We so need girlfriends! I was just wondering if you have ever shared your experience with becoming vegan and your reasons behind that choice. Did you transition into it or just give up all meat and related products at one time. Did you ever go through a period of time you craved diary/eggs? Since becoming vegan do you feel a change in your health over what you feel you would experience eating a regular but non-vegan diet? Sorry for all the questions you don’t need to respond since I know your busy but maybe a topic for a future post or you could direct me to a post you have done that you talk about this. You are an inspiration and I really enjoy your website and mouth watering baking.
Thanks!

Yay for US orders! Hey, if I crash your server, I’ll be back. Now don’t go killing yourself trying to fulfill all the US orders that are sure to be a deluge!!
If your post soon after opening up US shipping is along the lines of “I worked 24 hours straight”, I swear I’m going to point you right back to your own “what a difference a year makees” posts. Ha ha ha ha :-)
Angela!
