Can you believe it’s December 2nd? I say, bring on the red dresses, cocktails, decorating, cookies, and parties. I’m so ready to end the year with a fun and festive month.

Christmas music, the fireplace and snow!!
My husband and I will be celebrating our first Christmas as husband and wife! We also just moved across the country (east coast to west coast)… keeping my fingers crossed for a white Christmas :)
we are going away the weekend before christmas…all 22 of us :-) and then spending a night at my mom’s house on the way home. Haven’t been home in years…looking forward to it. All 5 kids will be with us on the weekend away, and it should be a great time.

I’m looking forward to seeing Marea’s face when she wakes up on XMAS morning. She is 19 months and understands it a bit more than last year. It has been a long time since I have really celebrated Christmas — my dad passed away on Christmas morning in 1992. Having a young daughter though has given me a renewed interest in the holiday. :)
