Can you believe it’s December 2nd? I say, bring on the red dresses, cocktails, decorating, cookies, and parties. I’m so ready to end the year with a fun and festive month.

Decorating our new home, it’s our first Christmas here!
Normally I love the holidays but my mother in law passed away in april so this year I am lookong forward to it being over. It will be a tough one.

I’m looking forward to practically transitioning our and our kid’s focus from the “stuff” of Christmas to celebrating and focusing on Jesus’ birth and carrying out that meaning through the rest of the months of the year! It might take a few years to fully enact :)
