Can you believe it’s December 2nd? I say, bring on the red dresses, cocktails, decorating, cookies, and parties. I’m so ready to end the year with a fun and festive month.

Since moving to Alaska, almost 11 years ago, we tend to spend Christmas as our little family of four, which is absolutely wonderful, but this year we will be with my sister, her kids, my parents, my husband’s parents, and I can hardly wait! :)

I am looking forward to visiting my fiance’s family. They live far away so we do not often get enough time off of work to visit them, and recently both his Uncle and Grandfather have passed away. We were lucky enough for both of our jobs to understand this difficult time and allow us to spend the holidays with his Mother and the rest of his family. It is truly a blessing for us both.
