Can you believe it’s December 2nd? I say, bring on the red dresses, cocktails, decorating, cookies, and parties. I’m so ready to end the year with a fun and festive month.

This will be my last real visit with my family before I leave the country for about 6 months. I’m really excited about it, but it’s bittersweet, too.
I’m most looking forward to Christmas Eve with my family this holiday season. Every Christmas Eve everyone on my mothers side of the family get together (there’s about 30 of us). We have dinner together, and watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, and then go our separate ways for the evening. I attend church with my parents and siblings, and then spend the evening driving around looking at Christmas lights
I’m looking forward to spending all the day’s with our family over our many get togethers this holiday season.
My mother passed away three months ago, she was my best friend. I know she will always be with us, so I look forward to feeling her spirit with us this holiday. She loved Christmas and always made it so special. Thank you and may you all have a happy holiday.

I cannot wait to travel to Europe with my mom and husband for the holidays! We will be on a river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam and will be spending most of the time in Germany. Christmastime in Germany is pure magic!
We just moved so I’m looking forward to some down time enjoying family and our new home that I will hopefully have organized by then :)
