I got some exciting news this morning!!
I was asked to do an interview for a MAJOR news station here in Toronto. I am super excited and a bit nervous (ok, a lot nervous- but excited!).
They arrive at our house Friday at noon and the interview will air on Monday. I don’t think I can reveal any details yet, but they will be coming shortly.
What do I wear???!

As someone who’s worked in TV – wear colour, and a necklace if you go for a lower-cut shirt. No white!! Other than that, you’ll look gooooorgeous ;)

I don’t really remember if it looked “summery” or not.
but i agree with eveyone who says to wear bright colors, or maybe something in a jewel tone..OoOo. ok, dont ask me, im too indesisive.:]

CONGRATS! I echo everyone’s comments about a bright or jewel tone color for you to “glo”! I once read Lauren Conrad from the Hills say she couldn’t wear some prints on TV – I think they they didn’t show well or something.
I hope you can get a video clip of it so all of us that follow you from a distance can see your interview!

I say wear a cashmere V-neck sweater with a long layered necklace and if you want a casual vibe wear a dark wash jean (if you want a more dressy vibe try a pencil skirt or a nice pair of pants)! Best of luck with the interview!
That’s so exciting! Ironically (and way randomly), I just did an interview today for our local TV station. I was SOOOO nervous (hello fear of public speaking, I thought I left you in college!). However, the newcaster totally puts you at ease and pre-interview you before hand so you are comfortable with what you are saying. Way more mellow of an experience than I anticipated. You’ll do great!!
Now the fashion part, I would be (and was!) nervous. If it’s not yoga pant, I have no advice ;-)
