Good afternoon!
I have a fabulous guest lunch entry today by the wonderful Leah. Leah and I have known each other ever since our 1st year in university!! We have been great friends ever since. :D
Leah submitted this awesome power lunch to me and I just couldn’t keep it to myself. I’m not sure if I have ever seen such a beautiful lunch!
“Hey Ange,
Here are three pictures of my lunch today. I was dying for
a huge salad and I’m not just a lettuce, tomato and cucumber kind of
girl. I love to stock up my salads with loads of goodies.. which is
another reason I love salad bars so much (but rarely go out to them!).Leah’s Power Salad:

You are not likely to get anywhere in particular if you don’t know where you want to go.

Love the power lunch and power snack! They both look super.
Leah’s salad looks awesome, I love pineapple in everything!!
And YES, I am so excited for the movie! There have been so many chick flicks that have come out recently that I missed, but I definitely want to see this one and Shopaholic. I love a good girlie film :)
I think the movie looks pretty good, but I always like the books better, so I guess I need to read it!

i love that you’re doing the “unspoken issue” series because, well, as you said, it’s something that most of us can relate to, but it’s so hard to overcome. i just recently have started putting a stop to my bingeing, so i’m looking forward to seeing how you did too.

That snack and the lunch both look delish. I’m inspired to get creative!

On a different note, after following your blog (and many others) for awhile, I finally decided to start my own blog! It’s called Blue Plate Special, and will focus on food and fitness from a college student’s perspective. Come and check it out sometime! Mind if I add you to my blog roll?

TOTALLY looking forward to HJNTIY! There’s no way I’ll ever get my husband to go with me (plus, he’s in England for a week, so definitey not happening!) but I think I’m going to see if my mother-in-law wants to see it on Sunday afternoon. Then I’ll just have to figure out a way to stay away from the evil movie theatre popcorn and it’ll be all good!
I love the salad and snack ideas. Thanks for the guest posts!
